DOB 5-Apr-2025 Neo is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick him up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. In the short time Neo has been at the adoption centre, he's shown himself to be a friendly, lovable boy who lives life in the best kind of rhythm: playing, snacking, resting, playing some more, and thoroughly enjoying himself. Full of curiosity and confidence, Neo isn’t easily fazed. He approaches new environments, people, and experiences with interest rather than hesitation, which helps him settle in quickly. He eagerly explores his surroundings and will happily investigate anything new. Whether it’s chasing a wand toy, nestling in tunnels, batting around spring toys, or sending balls spinning around the ball tower, Neo brings enthusiasm to it all—he’s not picky and loves trying every toy he can find! Despite his energy, Neo is a gentle sweetheart. He keeps his claws tucked during play, offering soft swats or resting a paw sweetly on your arm to keep the fun going. He may even give little love nibbles—his affectionate way of interacting—always careful not to hurt. Neo absolutely adores being petted and will happily purr to show his appreciation. He’s a true cuddler who thrives on human connection and will happily soak up every moment of love you give him. So far, he isn’t a fan of being picked up, but as he continues to settle in this may change over time. Right now, Neo is sporting a bit of a “poodle look” after his recent shave, giving him a uniquely cute look. When his soft, luxurious Persian coat grows back, it will reveal the full beauty of his fluffy self. Neo would thrive in a home that embraces his happy-go-lucky personality and includes him in daily life, with plenty of opportunities for play, exploration, and companionship. In return, he’ll bring endless entertainment, affection, and just the right touch of mischief to keep life fun.
