Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Valentino! He is a handsome, long haired buff gentleman who is ready to find someone who appreciates a cat with a big heart and an even bigger appreciation for attention! His owner sadly passed away, and thankfully, a kind neighbor was able to care for Valentino until he could make his way to the rescue. Through all the changes, he has remained the sweet, affectionate, loving, and gentle boy he is. He’s very friendly and would be happiest with someone who enjoys having a devoted companion nearby and is happy to give him lots and lots of attention. Valentino would be especially well suited for a someone who is retired or at home most of the day. Older, respectful children are okay, as long as they understand that Valentino likes attention on his terms and that reading his body language is important. He’ll let you know when he is ready for affection - and when he’s had enough. His gorgeous long coat also means regular brushing is a must. Valentino also requires special dietary food, and his feeding routine needs to be followed for his health. Valentino is looking for someone who will appreciate his routines, respect his boundaries, and enjoy all the affection he has to offer. He is a sweet, affectionate boy who knows exactly what he likes - and that includes plenty of attention! He’s looking for a home where he can be loved, spoiled, and given all the one on one attention his heart desires. Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
