Persian kittens & cats in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Smoke was rescued when he was 3 months old. Sadly this breeder and her sister of exotic cats down in Florida both became extremely ill with fatal diseases. One sister died and the other became disabled. The many animals they had were breeding among horrific conditions. I was notified by a person and drove 2 hours to check out what the situation was. Over the course of several days traveling there to bathe and flea treat all dogs and cats, the final tally we took in was 23 cats and dogs. They all were in terrible condition with internal and external parasites. They have been fed the highest quality food since that time. All cats have received two sets of PureVax cat vaccines, a rabies vaccine, dewormings, have been spayed or neutered, microchipped and tested for FIV/Feluc and heartworm( all were negative). He was transported up from Florida (by diesel) at the end of April. He is continuing to be fostered in Thurmont, Md. with the owner of the rescue who is a vet tech. He is very dog like in his affection and will bring many years of happiness to his owner. He lives with other dogs and cats since he was born. Smoke is a beautiful very sweet doll face pure Persian. He is more like a breathtaking art creation. His fur is silky soft so it doesn’t mat or appear to shed like most Persians. He is a very rare color known as a black face silver shaded. A person could spend all day just petting him and nothing would make him happier. He truly is an exquisite kitten.

Moonbeam is a beautiful very sweet flat face pure Persian. She will require daily brushing to avoid mats. She is a “ petite” Persian who will always look like a kitten.

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Boo! Some cats ask for attention the moment you meet them. Others quietly wait and hope someone kind enough will truly see them. This beautiful 6 year old black and white long haired boy is one of those cats. Behind his shy eyes is the sweetest, most gentle soul imaginable. Boo is quiet, soft-hearted, and deeply loving. He adores gentle pets and attention, leaning into affection with quiet trust that feels incredibly special because it’s so genuinely earned. Sadly in his previous home, he was bullied by other animals, which left him timid and unsure. Because of that he would do best as the only pet in a calm, peaceful home where  he never has to feel afraid again and can finally feel safe. He isn’t difficult - he simply needs patience, understanding, and someone willing to give him the time he needs to settle in and realize he is ok! After living in fear for so long trust won’t happen overnight. He will need a 30-45 day adjustment period to truly decompress and come out of his shell. But the person willing to give this dear sweet boy that grace will discover an incredibly loyal companion who loves deeply and quietly. He is breathtakingly handsome with his gorgeous long coat and soulful eyes, and his beautiful fur will need regular brushing to keep him comfortable and looking his best - something that can become a peaceful bonding ritual between him and his person. Boo has spent enough of his life feeling overlooked, bullied, and afraid. He deserves a home filled with soft voices, warm blankets, patient hearts, and unconditional love. Somewhere he can finally exhale, curl up beside someone who understands him, and know he never has to be scared again!
