Story
Hello! My name is Bear and I am about 9 months old. My mom (Bean) and I were surrendered to the Adams County SPCA, our owner could no longer care for us so they wanted us to have the best chance of finding a new loving home. I love to play with feathers and other toys. I have long hair so I will need someone to brush me at least once a week. Don't worry, I like being brushed, as long as you are gentle. We can learn new things together. Whether it's chasing a feather toy or batting around a crinkly ball, I'm always up for a bit of fun. And hey, if you're looking for a buddy to help with your daily yoga routine, I'm an expert at downward cat!

Story
Willow is a good cat. She is an indoor/outdoor cat. She gets along with my two dogs but I don’t know how she would do with new dogs. She is not declawed and she stays inside the house most of time during the winter and in the summer she goes in and out of the house. She is litter box trained. She doesn’t like to handled but she will sometimes come up and snuggle with you.

Story
We would like to introduce you to a beautiful cat named Victoria. This girl has a stunning long-haired coat, and lovely black and white coloring. Her journey with our shelter started back in 2019 when she transferred in from another organization, was adopted and now recently returned. She was absolutely well loved and cared for, but sadly seems she just never adjusted to the other cats in the home the last few years, and is chronically stressed out. Behavior meds and keeping her separate were just not working for her. Victoria would prefer to be the only cat in her future home, and we are hoping that we can find someone to open their heart and home to this special lady! Some things to know about Victoria: She is listed at 8 years old, but her previous medical paperwork is a bit conflicting regarding that, and she could be older. She has had bloodwork and testing that shows no obvious age-related issues/diseases. She can be a tempermental lady and often needs her space, but when she wants to cuddle, she will let you know! She absolutely loves treats and will sit and glare at you until you comply and get the bag. She can be rattled by loud or sudden noises and movements. This regal princess is hoping that you will come meet her, and provide her with the safe, quiet and comfortable home that she deserves!Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12 pm and 2 pm -6 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.

Leo is a sweet and affectionate male cat with a charming personality, but he can also be a bit moody at times. Story
Aries is a 6 year old female cat. Her last rabies shot was in 2021. She lives in house only. She gets along with our dogs. She does get along with our other cat but would probably be better being the only cat in the home. She is not good with small children. Adults would probably be the best fit..

Story
Approx DOB: August 2022 Tucker (ID#23086) is a happy-go-lucky boy who, although not technically a kitten anymore, is definitely a kitten at heart. He quickly took on the "big brother" role to all the foster kittens in his foster home. Found on a farm with his fur so matted it had to be cut off, you couldn't even tell he was a long hair cat, has now become the most beautiful long hair boy. He is personality plus plus plus! Tucker is a super social, friendly and fun-loving guy who loves every person he meets, every cat he has met, and even dogs too. He is always up for some laser tag, loves jingly balls or any balls he can bat around really, and bird watching. He is quite the bird aficionado, sometimes so much so, that he thinks he should be outside with them, despite the fact that his mom tells him he does not belong outside anymore. His ideal home would have a sunporch where Tucker can feel like he is outside while remaining in all the comforts of the inside. He has this friend in his foster home, his name is Maurice. Maurice's siblings were both adopted in November and Tucker took Maurice under his very fluffy wings. They are often found chasing each other or cuddling together. They are bonded and must be adopted together. This boy really is the whole personality package! All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Story
My girl is so sweet. She has never gone to the bathroom outside of the litter box. She has never scratched any furniture. She does not go up on counters. She sleeps with me every night she loves you outside, so that’s a plus if she is able to I love her and I feel terrible, but I just want her to have a good home
