Story
SWEET AND SASSY Meow! My name is Eloise. My estimated date of birth is 5/11/2021. I am a calm, gentle, and sweet kitty who has a lot of potential if given a home and space to blossom.   I was found as a friendly stray cat outside and am still adjusting to life indoors. I am still a little scared and am getting used to being inside and will need an adopter that is willing to be calm and patient with me until I learn to trust. I have adjusted to life at kitty corner well and am a little princess here. I will vocalize and let you know when I want attention and to be petted. I have very soft, long fur. I am becoming more comfortable with visitors on the weekends at kitty corner and people I don't know yet. I am the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. I will rub against your legs if you are sitting down at a chair. I do get nippy and would need an adopter who is willing to work with me on that. Loud noises frighten me so I would do best in a calm, quiet home, with either no children or with calmer, older children who would be considerate of me. I am looking for an adopter who is willing to devote time into developing a relationship with me. I will likely not trust you right off the bat and may be shy and hide for a bit. If you go slow with me and give me time and some TLC, I promise your patience will be rewarded and the trust I will develop in you will be worth the wait. One of the volunteers has been devoting time to socializing me and working with me. I will now meow for her when I see her walk by my cage and allow her to pick me up and carry me around kitty corner. There is a lot of potential in me and her hope for me is that I can develop a similar relationship with the people that adopt me. I would love to meet you. - stop by Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue at 39 Queen St Gettysburg PA Saturdays and Sundays 11am-3pm to meet me and dozens of other adoptable kitties!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg... to donate toward the care of the 100+ cats and kittens our volunteers care for everyday visit paypal.me/foreverloverescue - please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many kittens that do not show up on these websites because they get come and go so fast!  Apply to adopt at foreverloverescue.com and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania unless otherwise noted. Story
Miss Nevada was brought into AHS as a stray and ready to find a home to relax away her days! Nevada did come to us with some bad teeth and did have a good number of them extracted. Due to this she has preferred canned food while here with us but will occasionally munch on her kibble. She is very friendly and likes to rub up against you as you pet her. Nevada is as sweet as they come and would love to be someone's cuddle buddy in a home! She is very hissy around other cats and seems unsure of them here at the shelter so any other feline friends in the home would need to be slowly introduced. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Stop in to Nevada today!

Story
Approx DOB: September 2019 Daisy and Pluto are a bonded pair who were adopted from Furry Friends Network, but due to unforeseen circumstances, they are looking for a new home. Daisy (female) is a domestic short hair and Pluto (male) domestic long hair. They would like to find them a new forever home together. Daisy and Pluto are both easygoing and lowkey. They’re content with windows to watch outside activities and comfortable places to sleep. They love a treat of wet canned food. While not necessarily lap cats, they show affection with seeking out pets and rubbing against you. They will need a little patience as they acclimate to a new home, but we think you’ll find them worth it. They just need someone to give them a chance. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Story
Truman Van Dyke is a big, handsome scaredy cat that needs some time and love, and will be a wonderful pet. He’s probably around two years old. He is a big fluff ball and looks somewhat like a Maine Coon. He is good with other cats. At this point, we would only recommend older calm children. He came from a very bad hoarding situation, so he needs patience, and a clean and loving environment. He enjoys being combed. He also has a long-haired, gorgeous orange brother in the same situation. Truman and Tribble are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. June 10, 2023, 4:00 pm
