Persian kittens & cats in Frederick, Maryland

Hi - My name is Peaches, and I am a new member of the AARF family. I am a beautiful DLH cat, but because I am brand new to these parts, there`s not much more known about me or my personality just yet. By the time you meet us, we`ve already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We`ve been checked by a veterinarian, and we`re up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Lili is a darling young black and white Persian female cat. She was rescued from the streets left to fend for herself. Suffered trauma to her back legs causing her to stumble on occasions. How can you not love her big fluffy face with those black and white markings. She looks like a female Sylvester. Lili is so sweet and lovable. Lili loves to be carried around and loved on. Such an affectionate young lady that likes to give hugs. Lili has had trauma to her back end which prevents her from jumping. We would like to see her in a home without stairs. Baybars is a very handsome, young adult rescued off the mean streets. He was wandering about looking for his next meal. He has a beautiful long haired buff and white coat. He is a big healthy boy. Baybars has a wonderful personality. He is not shy a bit. Active and loves to play with his foster friends. He likes to be brushed and doted on. We think Baybars would be fine as a solo cat with a loving family or with another gentle cat. Not tested on dogs or kids but with a good acclimation he should be fine. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Skor and Leo are stunning young pure bred Persian boys. They are young, approximately one year old. They were not wanted anymore so they were handed off with matted fur and lack of care. Skor is a white/cream boy with beautiful crystal blue eyes. Very long fur. Leo is deep orange with a white moustache. Both boys are extremely loving and playful. Watching them interact and play with other felines is very endearing. The stress of change caused an upper respiratory infection which set them back for a couple weeks but they are now all healthy ready for living homes. Persian owners know this can be typical of this breed. Their photos don’t do justice. They are handsome. We want the boys to go to a home that is experienced with Persian cats or long haired cats. This breed requires attentive care of fur and eyes. They have very long fur. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Epic was rescued off the streets of a major city. The video we received of him showed Epic looking for food next to a very busy street. He was dirty and matted. So sad. Epic is a lovely buff, long haired boy. Despite being dumped no fault of his own he has such a gentle caring personality. He is a quiet cat. He loves gentle soft petting and head scratches. He can be a little spooked of quick movements and sudden loud noises. Epic would do best in a quiet home without children. He gets along beautifully with other cats. Not tested on dogs. He will make a wonderful devoted companion. He deserves a chance to be loved and cared for. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Banda is a beautiful young black and white Persian young lady. We are just thrilled to have her with us. She screams of cuteness. Banda is so funny because she runs around on her little stumpy legs getting into trouble. She is very sweet and loving. Plays smashingly well with her fellow foster friends. We would like to see Banda go to a home with another cat because of how much she enjoys companionship. Being that flat faced Persians tend to have eye issues as well as require regular grooming, we feel it is best she go to a home experienced in caring for the Persian breed. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Meet Spotty! This gorgeous and easygoing fluffball absolutely loves her people! She will seek you out and rub against you, purring loudly. If you let her, she’ll curl up and sleep on you, no matter where you are or what position you’re in. As a longhaired kitty, Spotty needs some grooming – not to worry! She loves to be brushed. In fact, she would be happy to groom you while you brush her. :-) Her favorite toys are crinkly toys and fishing pole toys as well as anything with catnip. This cuddler loves people of all ages (including kids as young as 5) and is comfortable around other cats. She also has experience with a dog – she is very tolerant but would prefer a home with no dogs or with a dog who tends to ignore kitties. Though she is currently an indoor/outdoor cat, Spotty loves to be inside; her family believes that she would be happy as an indoor-only cat. Spotty’s only “issue” is what appears to be chronic rhinitis. She often has a runny nose and sneezes. She appears to be comfortable, though occasional secondary bacterial infections may need to be treated. As a testament to her sweetness, Spotty's vet recently noted, during an exam, that they had difficulty evaluating her lungs due to her purring. :-) Spotty is 8 years old and weighs about 11 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. The chronic rhinitis is her only known health issue. She has perfect litter box habits. This sweetie is looking for a new home because her family is unable to take her with them when they move across country. We (FFOCAS) are helping Spotty’s family safely rehome her. Interested? Buddy-DLH Russian Blue X male kitten, 10 mo. (March 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Buddy came to rescue when his owner was overwhelmed with cats, having not altered his mother. She's now spayed and her kittens are looking for homes. Buddy has been raised with other kittens and kids...a great, friendly young boy. He's settled in a foster home now and doing pretty well. She is used to other cats around so would be okay, if you have another kitty. Buddy's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
