Oreo is a 2 year old domestic longhair that was brought to us in an emergency foster situation shortly after being born. Oreo was the only one in her litter to make it out alive, therefore we’ve cared for her until today. Oreo is an independent, adventurous cat that enjoys her personal space, however, there is a very affectionate and loving side to her when she becomes familiar to someone. Oreo loves exploring and will often become energetic and playful. As such, Oreo would do well in an area that allows her to run around, play, and explore. Since Oreo was raised without socialization from her mother or other littermates, she may exhibit certain behavioral characteristics and may require some time to become accustomed to new individuals and areas. Therefore, we would like to place Oreo with someone who has experience with cats and is patient enough to provide the right amount of time, space, and consistency for Oreo to feel secure and comfortable!
