Augustus knows what it’s like to struggle. Life outdoors was, without a doubt, the cruelest chapter of his story. But perhaps that’s also why he understands just how wonderful life can be now. These days, Augustus is always hovering a few steps above contentment, ready to stretch out his paws toward any human willing to give him even the tiniest bit of attention.
And let us be clear: Augustus absolutely LOVES people. Give him a human companion and he is a happy boy. He would happily spend his days soaking up affection, lounging nearby, and enjoying the simple luxury of being safe, warm, and loved.
He dreams of spending his golden years cuddling with his human—or, perhaps even better, sitting contentedly nearby while they go about their day. He doesn’t need constant excitement or adventure. He just wants to be part of someone’s life, where he can finally know that he is safe, cherished, and home.
After everything Augustus has been through, he deserves nothing less than a soft place to land, a loving human to call his own, and a lifetime of belly rubs.

Augustus has been in a foster home with multiple other young and older kitties. He would do well going into a home with or without other pets. With the right family who will give him the love he needs. Augustus has never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a patient, cat-savvy dog we think he could learn to love a new pup sibling.
Augustus is approximately 2.5 years old, neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy.. all he needs now is a forever home!

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:
Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, youre doing more than giving your new family member a home.
