Persian kittens & cats in New Richmond, Wisconsin

We are currently fostering this cat for a friend that got her from the Humane Society in Nov. 2026, then could not keep her. She is approx. 1 year and 3 mo. old, has all vaccines, and is spayed. Our dog (chihuahua) will not stop trying to attack her, so we need to find a good home for her. She does not attack him. All medical records provided. We will include the fully enclosed litterbox, litter, food, scratching post, backpack cat carrier, food and water bowls. She is friendly and wants to be with people. She does like to wrestle (maybe grew up with a dog?). We have had her for 4 weeks and she is continuing to show affection more and more. She does bite when she is wrestling or if she does not want to be petted then. She does not bite to hurt, but it is part of her play. We are working on the word NO and she is learning. She prefers women, and we would recommend no small children. She is very sweet and will vocalize when she sees you and is very inquisitive.

This pair is very bonded and must go together. No exceptions. Merry & Holly were trapped as part of a colony trapping project in MN. They came to us very shy, very scared, and bonded. Holly came with what was believed to be an under-developed eye, which our vet recommended we remove. (Her surgery scar has healed nicely since this photo was taken.) The girls are so very sweet. They have adapted to an indoor life with ease and are slowing showing their trust in us. We can handle them as long as we approach calmly, talk gently to them, and show them that we respect their space. We are confident that given time, patience, and lots of love, that they will become amazing companions to the human(s) who adopts them. They do fine with other cats and have been seen snuggling up with some of their kitty friends. Dogs are an unknown. And, we are recommending no young children as they really do need a home where it is relatively calm and quiet. Vicky is a stray who had been hanging out in a neighborhood here in New Richmond where she was being fed but no one was giving her an actual home. During the previous winter she was taking shelter in a shed that she could enter by a hole in the side. A concerned party brought this to our attention as the shed hole was being closed up for this winter and where then would she go from the elements and to be safe. We knew we needed to get her off the streets. Shy and unsure but already making progress. Vicky needs someone to give her lots of love and be patient with her. He was too friendly to be part of the feral group so most likely a wandering cat or a recent dumpee. He is such a lovely older cat just wanting a home and family he can call his own. He's great with other cats and does very well with children of any age. Dogs are an unknown and unfortunately, we do not have the resources to introduce him to them. Seven is 7 yrs old (DOB is approx. 10/1/2018), neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and is FELV/FIV neg. We welcomed Seven to GGOH and he has been doing so well here but, it's time to find him a home of his own. Might that be you? Stop in soon to meet him. Oh, and did we mention how sweet he is?
