Story
Cookie is a pit bull with a quarter husky, she has one blue eye and one brown eye. She is a very sweet girl and needs a lot of love and affection. She is energetic and loves to play fetch. She only goes potty in the backyard and sometimes on walks. She gets very scared with other dogs and doesn’t get along well with them.

Story
Meet Bleu! He is a stunning one year old mutt! Our best guess is pit/husky! He is an active and playful boy who loves other dogs and kids too! In fact, he hasn’t found a dog or child he doesn’t like yet! We are hoping an active family with large puppy experience who loves adventure will find Bleu irresistible! Like all dogs, a commitment to training is ideal! His beginnings were humbling and hard but thanks to an amazing human he crossed paths with- his life was forever changed! He does well on a leash and loves a cozy bed! He is fully potty trained too! He has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered! Bleu is about 1 year old.

These pups are in Scotts Valley, California too!

Story
I adopted Magnum from the Santa Cruz shelter in January 2024 and he has become increasingly aggressive since coming home with me. He is a doll with me but he tries to attack anything else that moves - cats, lizards, squirrels, my chickens, young children, people, and all other dogs. The shelter thinks he is about 3 years old. I don't know anything about him prior to adopting him. I walk him regularly (often very long hikes) and I have been training him since day 1 with the help of 2 different trainers. He also takes doggie prozac (FLUoxetine) daily. He continues to be really aggressive to anyone but me, which has made it very difficult for me to lead a normal life and have family/friends over. He does great in his kennel and seems to be a one person dog. He has a very strong prey drive. I have to put a muzzle on him whenever he has to be in close quarter with other people (e.g. car rides). It breaks my heart but I cannot keep him.
