Story
Hank was adopted from the humane society of silicon valley as a 10-week puppy and is now 6 years old. Hank is goofy and playful and enjoys learning new tricks. He enjoys howling along with sirens as they pass by. However, he is reactive around other dogs (he was attacked by off leash dogs on two occasions) and has become increasingly guarding of his food against our cats (no issues with humans) and it's no longer safe to have him in our house. Ideally he would be an "only dog" in a cat- and child-free home.

Diva is approximately 2 years old. She is tan and weighs about 55 lb. She's a gentle, loving girl-sweet, playful, and full of heart. She came into our lives when my granddaughter brought her home and I quickly fell in love. But I already have three other dogs, and with my own health challenges, I simply can't care for them all. It's overwhelming, emotionally, physically and financially and they deserve more than I can give. Diva especially needs more space, more exercise, and more attention than I can provide. She deserves to run, play, and be the big, joyful dog she is meant to be. And while this breaks my heart, I know she needs a better life than I can offer right now. I'm looking for a stable, loving home where she'll be cherished and cared for. Someone who can give her the space, training, love and attention she deserves and needs. She's still young and will thrive with patience, kindness and unconditional love.

ADOPTION PENDING!  Handsom T is an absolute sweetheart who is easy going and social. This friendly 8 year old male adores people and loves to smooch! He's interested, but courteous, around other dogs and should integrate well into a household with one or more large dogs.   His high energy and good mobility would make him a great hiking buddy. Since he's a big athletic guy, a strong handler is recommended for leash walks. Like many GSDs, Handsom loves food more than toys, and is an eager eater. He can be a bit grabby when taking treats, but is responding well to the ‘Gently’ command. He would be equally happy as the one and only with a single adopter or as part of a family with older respectful kids.  ##2638406##

ADOPTION PENDING!  Lola T. is a beautiful 7 year old German Shepherd female weighing 64 pounds. She is the perfect size for adopters of all ages. She easily makes friends with people, and playfully seeks attention in a pushy sort of way. She does well in meeting other large dogs, especially males, and does OK meeting females but she can be a bit dominant.   She loves to sniff around every corner of her environment as a curious soul might do.  We are not sure how she would react to cats, but we do know she does great around older kids.  She is easy to walk on leash, rarely pulling, enjoys her walks and occasionally will exhibit some stiffness while walking. Her overall personality is that of a friendly, playful, very affectionate dog that likes attention and lets you know when she wants that attention, but in a loving way. To top all of this she likes car rides, knows basic commands such as "sit", "no", "come", is house-trained and has good, healthy energy.  If you are searching for a devoted, easy to live with dog, and an affectionate loyal friend, then Lola T. is ready to steal your heart. ##2653114##

Sunshine T lives up to her name with her golden color and sunny personality. This 8 year old GSD mix is on the small side, weighing in at around 45 lbs. This makes her the perfect size for a smaller home or for apartment life.  Sunny will bond quickly and strongly with her human. She has co-existed with other dogs, but she much prefers to have her person all to herself.
