Hi I'm Scallop I'm a gorgeous 3 year old 45 lb husky pit mix! I had a home but when my parents separated they decided they no longer had the ability to take care of me. that was a dissapointment but hey, their loss is your gain! I am smart, dog social, and thrive with structure! get me a human who is a leader and put me in a routine and I will do back flips for ya! I can't wait to meet you! please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. We do not transport our dogs. If you apply from out of state we do request you come to Los Angeles to meet us and fly home in cabin or drive. www.apurposefulrescue.org

Meet FLORA a young, vivacious canine we rescued after her puppies were adopted. She is a petite little girl about 40 pounds and just the right size to handle on leash. She has one sky blue eye and one light brown eye. Her personality is a delightful mix of sweetness and energy, and she's as friendly as they come. Independent yet loyal, FLORA enjoys a good play session but also loves to snuggle up and be petted and praised. She's smart and curious, always ready to explore new things. Also very gentle with her fellow dogs and enjoys their company. A true water lover, Flora would make a perfect beach companion, zooming thru the sand and fetching a ball or toy. She adores the companionship of her human and always tries to please. FLORA has a special loving personality and will be your loyal friend, a playful companion, and a source of unconditional love and joy. This girl deserves a forever home and someone to give her heart to. She is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. Bella's curiosity leads her to explore her surroundings with curious spirit. She quickly learns new commands and routines. And although she has been waiting patiently for a loving home she is sitting in a boarding facility and is still happy, playful and outgoing. She needs a home of her own. Bella enjoys car rides, hiking, and playful romps. Yet, she also enjoys quiet cuddle sessions, showing her loyal and affectionate side. With her well-rounded personality, Bella would make a great addition to any home. Her ability to adapt and her eagerness to please make her the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal, playful, and intelligent pet. Bella can be adopted for$350 which includes all her vetting. Story
Yvette is in foster care in Huntington Beach SO Cal area. Please note this dog is located in SO Calif. Because of the overpopulation and high kill rate of shelter dogs in our area we are trying to find our dogs good homes in other areas. Please contact us for transport information. Yvette is such a nice compact little shepherd girl who is almost 3yrs old and weighs 60 pounds. She has been waiting awhile for a family and her friend we rescued with her has been adopted leaving Yvette alone and waiting. She is gentle and playful with other dogs the same size as her in her playgroup. She likes toys, scampering and bowing around the play yard and is great in the car and on leash. She still has puppy energy and may play a little to hard to be with really small dogs and she doesn't care for kitties. For a family this dog has an amazing personality and does her best to mind and please. Yvette could play ball from sunrise till bedtime and never tires of her favorite toy. She like water and on hot days can be seen splashing contentedly in her kiddie pool. The beach lake or river would be her idea of Heaven.
