Story
Blu joined a family when she was just a puppy. Five years later they dumped her at East Valley Animal Shelter for reasons unknown. Because of her breed and being owner surrendered, she was scheduled to be euthanized and was saved within hours by a wonderful couple - however, their 2 small senior dogs don't get along with Blu, so we are trying to find a perfect home for this sweet gentle girl. Note: Blu was never socialized by the family and will require some training when she encounters other dogs on leash. This is NOT aggressive behavior. It's a socialization issue that can be fixed. Blu is a 5-year-old female, approx. 50 lbs. She is well behaved, even tempered, non-aggressive, non-destructive, very affectionate, loves to play and walk, harness/leash trained, rides in car, eats well/loves treats, potty trained, responds to "sit" and "paw". And adores belly rubs. At times she nuzzles herself real close and looks up with those gorgeous blue and brown eyes! She is amazing.

Story
Our dog's name is Charlie and he's now 2 yrs old. Charlie is a pitsky (part pit/part husky) and a very loving, happy, healthy dog. He loves attention and enjoys walks and playtime. Charlie is neutered and house-trained too. We basically inherited Charlie from a family member who couldn't take care of him and thought we would keep him until we could find him another good home. Although Charlie is a big dog, he's a kind dog and loves to love on people. We're hoping his new owner will be someone who will be good to him too and can spend time and energy with Charlie, as well as give him a bit more obedience training.

Snoop is a 3-year-old German Shepherd/Pitbull mix that I’ve had since he was 8 weeks old. I got him from a family friend whose dog unexpectedly had a litter of 8 puppies, and Snoop has been part of my family ever since. Snoop is extremely loyal and devoted to his owner. He forms strong bonds with the people he trusts and loves spending time with them. He enjoys walks, playtime, and being with his family. Snoop can be protective and is naturally cautious around strangers. He is not the type of dog that immediately warms up to new people and does best when introductions are slow and respectful. Once he gets to know someone, he becomes much more comfortable and affectionate. I am looking for a home with someone who understands large breeds and is willing to give him the time, structure, exercise, and patience he needs. Ideally, his new owner will be committed to continuing his training, taking him on regular walks, and giving him plenty of attention and companionship.

Story
We got Micah during the pandemic when he was just six weeks old and he has been a part of our family ever since. this is a very heartbreaking decision for us and we are so sad to have to rehome him. He is a good, lovable dog with a sweet heart. overtime, he has developed high anxiety and does not do well being left home by himself. He takes medication for stressful situations, such as vet visits and his groomers usually come to the home to help keep him comfortable. Because we recently moved, we are no longer able to keep him. We want to find him a home with a loving, patient and kind family who understands that he may need extra time, reassurance and care. He deserves a safe forever home where he will be loved and treated gently. Our biggest hope is that he goes to someone who will be patient with him and give him the love and stability he needs. He and his brother Ping were brought to the shelter as young strays after being found dumped at a dog park at just five months old. Pong hasn’t let that beginning define him — he’s blossomed into a cheerful, loving pup. He enjoys playing in the yard, splashing in water, chasing toys, and going for walks. At the shelter, Pong loved greeting visitors and spending time with staff — he’s friendly, social, and full of happy energy. Pong is a fantastic dog who’s ready to bring joy and companionship into a home. He is available for adoption in the Greater Los Angeles area and can be placed separately or with his brother Ping.

Kiara who we also call Kiki was saved as part of a family of 15 White Husky dogs now known as The Pico Rivera 15. Kiara is from the one year-old litter. She is currently getting some basic training to learn to be her best self. She’s so loving and funny and loves to play with every dog she meets. She is shy meeting new people but warms up very quickly because she’s so smart and senses people‘s good energy. Kiki would do best in a home with another dog. It’s not a must, but it would definitely help her learn the ropes much faster. She is crate trained, and potty trained now. She is ready to see the world and be somebody’s fur baby. Kiki is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. We are so happy to see her thriving and ready for her happily ever after. Her foster mom and trainer takes her on walks to the park with other dogs and she has gotten really good at walking alongside her on leash. If you know Huskies, they can be vocally communicative. Maverick is a Gorgeous dog and so majestic in his nature. If you are a calm but assertive person looking for a wonderful dog companion, MAV could be your guy. Maverick was saved from a backyard where he was purchased to breed for profit. Thankfully that never happened but he did have several offspring. He was not kept in safe or sanitary conditions and we believe he is truly grateful to have been saved and taken out of a very sad and stressful young life. He is still only about 3 to 3.5 years old at most. Most of his young life he has had to make decisions. He kept the pack in order and not because he was trying to lead but because the puppies all flocked to him and looked to him for guidance and protection. Maverick is now with a foster family that has relieved him of feeling like he has duties and he can now just be a dog. He has a playful side. He gets goofy. He is still very friendly with other dogs and kids but he is also perfectly content clocking out, relaxing and being a passenger. He has a calming energy that is so soothing to humans.
