Hi I'm Scallop I'm a gorgeous 3 year old 45 lb husky pit mix! I had a home but when my parents separated they decided they no longer had the ability to take care of me. that was a dissapointment but hey, their loss is your gain! I am smart, dog social, and thrive with structure! get me a human who is a leader and put me in a routine and I will do back flips for ya! I can't wait to meet you! please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. There is no fee for Dukes adoption. We just need to find him a new home. We cannot keep him due to our landlord, we have a newborn baby on the way and another baby under 2 years old so that also makes finding the time for him difficult. He needs an attentive and physically active owner. He loves to hike and go on runs/walks. Have not had him around enough dogs to know his behavior. He was always solo. He knows the following commands: Sit, paw, Stop, Down, Free, Come, Leave It, Out of the kitchen Pees and poops outside, sleeps indoors.
