Story
Good day..a little info about Nala. She’s a loving friendly dog gets along with everyone..good with other animals and kids. Just can’t keep her due to the fact my son works is gone all day and I’m elderly and can’t manage the stairs to take her out. She needs a loving patient home to take her. Hopefully with a yard and another dog would be great so she can have company. She’s very playful and energetic. And a real sweet dog. I hope someone with a good heart will take her and give her a good home! Thank you!

Story
Location: Baldwin, MN Meet Carlotta—or Lottie to her friends! This beautiful Shepherd mix is finally ready for a life that's all about her. After raising multiple litters of puppies, Lottie has more than earned her happily-ever-after. She's now spayed and looking for a family who will shower her with the love and care she's always deserved. Lottie absolutely adores people and is happiest when she's by your side, soaking up affection and attention. She's friendly with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions, but true to her Shepherd roots, she can be a little bossy and likes to herd her dog friends from time to time. She'll do best with dogs that don't mind her taking charge every now and then. One of Lottie's most charming features is her adorable ear—one stands tall while the other flops off to the side, giving her the sweetest, slightly goofy expression that everyone falls in love with. She's a joy to walk on a leash, knows some basic commands, and is a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls or relaxing at home. She's smart, eager to please, and loves spending time with her people. Lottie does have a high prey drive, so any home with cats would need to have a very dog-savvy, confident cat, and slow, thoughtful introductions would be essential. She may also be happiest in a home without small animals. After spending years taking care of everyone else, it's finally Lottie's turn to be loved. She's ready for a family who will cherish her, appreciate her loyal heart, laugh at her adorable sideways ear, and give her the forever home she's been waiting for. Could Lottie be the missing piece of your family? *Originated from: South Dakota Reservation. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: North Mankato, MN Meet your new best friend, Kaya! This sweet girl may be a little timid when you first meet her, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines. Earn her trust, and you'll have a loyal companion who's happiest right by your side—especially if she can do her signature "lean" against your leg while you give her pets. She's house-trained, kennel-trained, and such a well-mannered girl that she doesn't really need to be crated. At the end of the day, she's an early-to-bed kind of gal who loves curling up in a cozy, cave-like space for a good night's sleep. She's wonderful with other dogs, especially smaller ones, and would be happy with a canine companion or as your one-and-only. One way to her heart? Cheese! It's her absolute favorite treat. Like many dogs, loud noises such as fireworks and motorcycles can be scary for her, so she'll do best with a family that understands her need for a calm, reassuring environment during noisy moments. If you're looking for a gentle soul who will reward your patience with unwavering love and loyalty, this girl is ready to become your devoted best friend. Give her a little time to settle in, and she'll give you her whole heart. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
