Story
This is Mila. She is a 4 year old huskita. She needs a fenced in backyard or to be on a chain other wise she will go explore the town. She is the sweetest and goofiest dog. She is a good dog but could definitely use more training especially with going on walks and not running away. I want her to go to a great home and with someone who will know how to take care of her and love her like their kid. She has been around cats but she tends to think they all want to play so she chases them. She has never attacked one she just likes to chase them. She is really good with kids but doesn’t like when they pull grab on her too much but has never bit anyone. She has been around my other dog her whole life. She does get slight seizures sometimes when she is in stressful situations or when she can yell I am very stressed. The vet says they are just slight focal seizures. She is not on any medications or anything.

Say hello to Jen! She came to TCHS as a transfer from another facility. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal into the home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Jen would love to have durable toys to chew on and keep her entertained. Patient and consistent training using treats is a good way to work on obedience cues. Ask a TCHS staff about training and suggestions for the perfect toy for your new friend from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
