Story
She is a wonderful baby who would do absolutely amazing in a home with no other pets and someone who wants a very loyal dog and isn’t afraid to groom her often. Her story: We acquired Maggie in an attempt to find her new home so my parents wont have to continue caring for her after their other pets had gone, since this was not originally their dog. She is a sweet girl!!! She makes a great “guard dog” since she’ll alert you when strangers arrive. She would definitely need a (physically) fenced in backyard with room to roam, our underground fence sometimes isn’t enough to keep her in but as long as she’s supervised she’s absolutely fine. She loves undivided attention, lots of treats, big bones and getting brushed. Her favorite toys are chew toys and squeaker toys. Not 100% sure on how she would do around other dogs, so possibly no other pets, unless you’d like to bring one to meet her first. Not sure on potty training also as she’s never been inside except kenneled at night.

Story
Thursday is a 3 month-old Husky/Hound mix who currently weighs 12 lbs. When she looks up at you with those puppy eyes, you won`t be able to resist falling in love with her. Thursday loves squeaky toys, treats, and playing with other dogs. As with any puppy, she will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training as she learns her foundational manners and skills. She`s very treat motivated, which will help with training! Thursday might be small, but she has a big personality! When she gets excited, she can be a little mouthy. Due to this behavior, we are recommending that she go to a home with mature children only. Thursday is an energetic, affectionate girl who can`t wait to find her home!

Story
HillaryFemaleD.O.B. 02/27/2025Estimated Full-Grown Weight: 65-75 lbsBreed: German Shepherd Mix Hi! I’m Hillary—your soon-to-be shadow, sidekick, and snuggle buddy for life. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids! Since I’m still a young pup, I’m working hard on my house training and should be crated for short periods when you’re away to help keep me out of mischief. I’m a confident, gregarious little pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m what they call a Velcro dog because I love being with my human at all times. If you’re sitting, I’ll be in your lap. If you’re moving, I’m right behind you. Cuddles? Yes, please—24/7. I will lovingly plant myself right next to you (or on you!) every chance I get. My favorite toys? My sisters! I love to wrestle and chase them around, and I’m usually the one starting the fun. I’m a bit of a performer, too—I’ve been practicing my howl in all different pitches, kind of like a tiny opera singer. It’s my way of saying, “Hey! Pay attention to me!” Treats? Give me a spoonful of canned puppy food—or even better, a little taste of canned cat food—and I’m in heaven. I’m bold, loving, and totally ready to take over the world… as long as you’re by my side. Let’s make a magical life together. I will also need to be spayed when I am old enough. If you are interested in meeting Hillary adopt her at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $395. Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older. ##2359750##
