Hello, my name is D'Artagnan, but I go by Dart or Darty. I'm 11 weeks old, born on March 23rd. I know my name and will come when called. I am some-what potty trained, I know to go outside but I still have accidents. I have been de-wormed and had my first round of shots. I'm super energetic, but a well behaved little boy who loves other dogs. I've never met a stranger either, I love diverting my walk to say hello to people! I'm just looking for my furever home! :)

Ozzy came into my life in a very special way. He was gifted to me at 4 months old by a dear friend who was battling cancer. She wanted to make sure he went to a loving home where he would be safe, cared for, and truly loved and I promised her I would do that for him.Ozzy is now 1 - 1/2 old and has grown into such a sweet, loyal, and loving dog. He has a big heart and an even bigger personality.He absolutely loves to play especially with his giant wooden blocks and enjoys chewing on bigger toys. He’s an active dog who needs space to run, play, and get his energy out. A home with a yard or someone who enjoys being outdoors would be perfect for him.Ozzy is also incredibly affectionate. He loves to cuddle, be close to you, and feels happiest when he’s part of a “pack.” While he can be on his own, he truly thrives when he has people around him.He listens well and is a good boy, but like many young German Shepherds, he would benefit from continued training and structure to help him.

Avoids kids but not reactive unless actively harassed. Shy, very timid at first. Takes a time to warm up to people. **Temperament Summary:** He is a very shy boy at first, loves playing with other dogs, warms up to female dogs quickly male dogs shortly after, a couple days to warm up to people so will require a patient adopter who can be steady and peaceful towards him. very quiet and sweet at first, vocal like a typical husky and playful afterwards. Will need a good kennel and fenced area or yard, he is slippery about escaping, and with his initial shy demeanor he will not be able to be leash walked until trust is established in some cases.
