Sassy is currently at county pound but we will pull her if we can find a foster.Sassy and 8 other dogs were taken from abusive owners. Prior to being seized, Sassy lived indoors and never went outside.We have a volunteer who has gone to the shelter and has taken Sassy for walks and reports that Sassy is a wonderful dog! She is good on a leash and loves belly rubs.Sassy needs to be on a strong leash at all times. She gets spooked easily (remember, all of this is new to her) by cars, loud noises, etc.Sassy is approximately 40 pounds. She has been spayed. Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Home 🖤 Meet Doom, our big, sweet Akita boy with the softest heart and the goofiest personality. Doom is house-trained, well-mannered, and truly just a giant baby in a fluffy body. He loves being close to his people, soaking up attention, and lounging around like he owns the couch. He is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and kind. the type of dog who just wants to be near you and feel loved. He has a calm, gentle nature but still enjoys walks, playtime, and having space to stretch his legs. Akitas are such special, devoted dogs, and Doom really lives up to that reputation. This decision has been extremely hard for us. We are expecting our first baby and, after a lot of thought, we know we wont be able to give Doom the time, energy, and one-on-one attention he truly deserves. Our biggest wish is to find him a home where he can continue to be spoiled, loved, and treated like family.
