She can be a bit sensitive when meeting new friends and prefers to take things at a slower pace, but with patience and respect, her true personality begins to shine.Waddles shows potential to live with another dog, especially one who is laid-back and respectful of her space, as she isn’t much for playtime. Because of her sensitive nature, Waddles would do best in a home with older children only. Kids ages 13 and up should understand how to respect her boundaries, as she does not enjoy excessive handling. Waddles is very intense with small animals, so she cannot live in a home with cats. Beardsley is ready to fill your home with laughter and love, bringing joy to everyone he meets. Outgoing and playful, he loves making new friends and showing off his fun-loving personality.Beardsley would do best living in a home that has plenty of space for him to roam indoors and maybe a fenced in backyard for him to run around in. If there are children in his forever home, Beardsley would do best with kids ages 10 and up due to his boundless energy. His affectionate nature and enthusiasm make him a wonderful playmate and family companion. Beardsley is nervous with new dogs and can take time to trust new canine friends. If he were to live in a home with another dog he would need very slow introductions and management to form a lasting bond. Because of his insecurity with other dogs, he would likely prefer to be the only dog in his forever home. Say hello to Shay! She is a 4 year old Shepherd/wolf hybrid mix who weighs about 55 pounds. Shay can be a bit shy with new people, but she warms up quickly and is sweet as can be! She enjoys occupying her own time and is the perfect combination of independent and affectionate. When she`s feeling excited, she enjoys playing with toys, but she mostly enjoys going for long walks outside and enjoying the fresh air. Shay absolutely loves other dogs, so she would love to live in a home with another dog that she can be playmates with. Due to her initial sensitivity, if there are children in her forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. Shay has been returned to us multiple times for traits that are common to wolf hybrids. Any interested adopter will need previous experience with wolf hybrids and experience with positive reinforcement training to ensure her next home is her forever home.
