MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Scooter is a 3-year-old Beagle/Shepherd mix weighing 47 pounds who is looking for his forever family. This sweet boy came to the rescue very underweight, and thanks to lots of care and good meals, he’s slowly gaining weight and starting to come out of his shell. Scooter already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning, especially if toys or treats are involved! He walks nicely on a leash and is working on his potty-training. He loves playing with toys, happily chewing on bones, and then winding down for some quality cuddle time. One of his favorite things is simply being part of the family—he wants to be included in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s playtime or a cozy night on the couch. Scooter gets along well with other dogs but has not met children yet. He is currently very curious about the cats in his foster home and is learning how to co-exist with them peacefully. Affectionate, loyal, and full of love, Scooter is a snuggler at heart who’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow, feel safe, and be cherished. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will fill your home with love, Scooter might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. MBR Farm is offering ONE Free Private Training session for dogs adopted from us in the month of March. That is a $125 value. Any additional session will be discounted to $80 per private session for an unlimited amount of sessions. No limit, no time limit. Your first session must be completed before May 1, 2026. After May 1st the cost of your first session will be a discounted rate of $100.
