Story
Onyx is an almost four-year-old Pitbull terrier we've had since he was a puppy. This furry friend is loving, full of energy, and ready to bring joy and laughter to your life. He’s a strong dog that thinks he lives in a small body and is unaware of his size at times. He loves people and he’s good with dogs similar to his size. He’s crate trained and leash trained but he could use some retraining. He loves to play and run outside. He isn’t neutered yet, but he will be soon. He does have allergies and we are still in the process of ruling out whether it’s diet or seasonal. He has a paw condition called pododermatitis., so his paws are a little inflamed and we use wipes or foam daily to treat it (twice a day). It’s a chronic condition so it's something that needs to be managed throughout his life. Otherwise, he has all his shots and he's a healthy size. If you're seeking a loyal companion who's always up for an adventure, Onyx is the one for you.

Story
Hi there, I'm Kamala! I am a vivacious pup looking for my furever home. I am old enough that I have outgrown my puppy behaviors but not too old for adventures and playtime. I am very social with people and enjoy getting lots of attention and affection. However, I am not a big fan of children so I ask that any kids in the home be 13 and older. I may do well with another dog with proper introduction. I'm not sure how I feel about cats but I'm also willing to give it a try. I hope that I can find my family who will cherish me and give me the life I so deserve. I will certainly give back all the love, loyalty, and companionship I have to share. Do you think I could be the one for you?---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. Story
Hello, my name is Bernard and let me tell you my tale. I'm a shy husky that came to the shelter as a stray. While the shelter doesn't know my background, they suspect I might've been an outside boy. While I am pretty good about keeping my kennel clean and going potty on walks, I am going to need work on housebreaking - but no worries, I'm a smart boy that picks up routine. Like many others of my breed, I don't always like being left alone and can get into mischief when unattended. My future family would ideally have some husky experience and be prepared to teach me how awesome a crate can be. If not crated, I tend to get bored and want to chew on things.Beyond those naughty things, I am good with other dogs and love mostly all people! I am not sure how I feel about cats but I am open to try. Kiddos, I'd prefer them to be at least 8 and up because I can get a little over-excited and don't know how to contain that. Do you have room in your home for a pup like me? If the answer is yes then come down to the shelter and lets meet!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history.
