Story
Found him running around the city and took to Macc and they were full so we took him in for a short time and took him to the vet and now macc wont accept him due to the fact we took him to the vet to get vaccines and such. We are having to rehome him due to him not quite getting along with the dogs we already had in our home and our limited space to keep him comfortable and happy. He would be great in a home with no other pets as he wants to be the star of the show and be able to get all the attention. He loves going on walks and playing fetch in the yard. He does not require being in a crate and has no desire to pull anything off counters or out of the trash. Knows basic commands but is eager to learn more. He loves meeting new people and loves to receive belly rubs. Please apply to give this guy the loving home he deserves where he can have all the attention!!

Story
Why: Me and my wife are expecting another child while already have a 9 month old baby This will hurt me so much which is why I need to make sure she goes to a great home. She is very loving and needs to go somewhere she can have A LOT of attention. She loved blankets and pillows and tight spaces. She is a 50lb la dog if you let her. She will sleep on your feet all day if you let her. Toys are not safe around her. She’s persistent on destroying any toy you give her. She loves to play until she can’t anymore. Best way to describe her is derpy and needy.

Story
Meet Journey – A Loyal German Shepherd mix Girl Looking for Her Forever Home   Journey's name couldn't be more fitting, because she's been on quite a journey to find the family she deserves. She first came into one young man's life when he was just 15 years old. His parents thought that giving him the German Shepherd mix puppy he'd always wanted would keep him busy and out of trouble—and they were right. Journey was loved, cherished, and became his constant companion through his teenage years. Then reality hit. At 18, he had to move out on his own, and the only housing he could afford didn't allow dogs. Faced with the heartbreaking choice between homelessness and giving up his best friend, he searched everywhere for help. He drove to rescues and shelters, asked friends and family, and exhausted every option before finding Critter Cavalry Rescue.   Thanks to a devoted rescue foster with Critter Cavalry, Journey was welcomed into foster care and given everything she needed to start fresh. She has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, started on heartworm prevention, and is heartworm negative. Most importantly, she has been given another chance to find the forever family she deserves. At 3 years old and weighing about 50 pounds, Journey is everything you could hope for in a companion. She's smart, obedient, affectionate, and eager to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether it's a hike in the woods, a game of fetch, running errands, or simply helping with chores around the house, Journey is happiest when she's with her people. She absolutely adores everyone she meets. Adults, children, other dogs, and even cats are all friends in Journey's world. She has an enthusiastic, playful personality without being overwhelming, and one of her best qualities is her wonderful 'off switch.' After she's greeted everyone, explored the house, and made sure everything is in order, she's perfectly content to lie at your feet or rest her head in your lap for a peaceful nap until the next adventure begins.   Journey's greatest gift is her unwavering devotion. She bonds deeply with her people and will gladly follow you wherever life takes you. All she's ever wanted is someone to love and a place to call home. Her first family loved her enough to make the painful decision to give her the opportunity for a better future. Now it's time for Journey to find the family that will love her for the rest of her life.   If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving, well-mannered best friend who is ready to fill your days with love and companionship, Journey may be the one you've been waiting for.   To learn more or apply to adopt Journey, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Journey is more than ready to belong to someone forever.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.August 27, 2026, 7:31 pm

Story
Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs   Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.       Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.       An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.       Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.       Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.        Fostered in Tennessee       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
