Story
Hello, We are seeking help for a 6-year-old pit bull mix named GBlue due to a serious medical situation in our home (Parkinson’s disease). We want to be fully transparent so she can be placed safely: · She is strongly bonded to her owner but wary of others · She displays guarding behavior at the door (growling when someone enters) although she has never bitten nor escalated beyond growling. · She has a high prey drive and has killed ferel cats · She is not fully trained (training was started but not completed) She can be handled by experienced individuals and is capable of de-escalating with calm, structured interaction, but she is not suitable for a beginner home. We are willing to keep her in the home for a limited amount time (not over 1 month) while placement is arranged, if needed. We are hoping for guidance, foster placement, or intake if you have a behavior-experienced foster available.

Story
We have had Zeus since he was a puppy. Originally, he was my brother’s dog, but when my brother joined the Air Force, I took Zeus in and have cared for him ever since. Unfortunately, after the past two years, I am no longer able to give Zeus the time and attention he deserves. Zeus is a loving, loyal dog with a playful personality and plenty of energy. He was born in 2019 and is approximately 7 years old. He would do best in a home where he can receive lots of attention, exercise, and companionship. This is a very difficult decision for me because Zeus is a great dog, but he spends most of the day alone, and I know he deserves a family that can give him more time and affection. My goal is to find Zeus a loving forever home where he can thrive and be a cherished member of the family. :(

Story
Rose (Roxy) — A Loyal, Intelligent Shepherd Looking for the Right Match Rose—also known as Roxy—is a 10‑year‑old, 85‑lb German Shepherd mix with all the classic Shepherd traits: smart, observant, deeply bonded to her person, and protective of her space. She’s a senior girl with a strong mind and a lifetime of instincts, and she’s looking for an adopter who understands Shepherd behavior and appreciates a dog with presence and personality. What We Know About Rose House‑trained and crate‑trained, with solid basic manners. Knows some commands and responds well to structure. Handles food without issues and does fine with routine care. Needs an experienced handler—she’s a Shepherd through and through and does best with someone confident and consistent. She needs a home that understands her breed and respects her boundaries. She’s also been working on leash handling in boarding, and her handlers have been documenting her progress. Her Ideal Home Rose will thrive with: A Shepherd‑savvy adopter A calm, structured environment Someone who appreciates a dog who bonds deeply and prefers a predictable routine No livestock or horses (per her reaction in boarding) She’s not a beginner dog—but for the right person, she’ll be an incredibly loyal, devoted companion. Why She’s Worth It Rose is past the chaos of puppyhood and the intensity of adolescence. What she offers now is maturity, intelligence, and a steady presence. She’s the kind of dog who wants to understand her person, follow their lead, and settle into a life where she feels safe and respected.

Story
🌙 Meet Mr. Moon — aka Moonie‑Toon, Moonie‑Tude, and the King of Husky Attitude Mr. Moon is a big, beautiful, larger‑than‑life Husky with a personality as bold as his name. He’s strong, smart, stubborn in the most Husky way, and absolutely overflowing with charm. This boy has presence — the kind that makes you laugh, roll your eyes, and fall in love all at once. Despite being a Husky, Moon is surprisingly calm and collected, especially when he’s with someone he respects. But don’t be fooled — he’s also talkative, expressive, and will absolutely tell you his opinions, especially if food is involved. Moonie‑Toon has a whole vocabulary of sounds, grumbles, and dramatic speeches ready to share. 🌟 Moon’s Personality Highlights - Big, strong, and confident — he knows he’s impressive - Smart and stubborn — classic Husky brain with a side of attitude - Calm for a Husky — he settles beautifully with structure - Talkative — especially when snacks are on the line - Goofy and playful — he loves to show off his silly side - Loving and loyal — once he bonds, he bonds deeply - Needs a leader — he thrives with someone who sets clear rules - Respects boundaries — but does not appreciate people taking his things in his personal space Mr. Moon is looking for a home that understands the Husky spirit — the independence, the humor, the stubborn streak, and the incredible loyalty that comes with it. He does best with structure, routine, and someone who can be his calm, confident boss. In return, he’ll give you devotion, entertainment, and a whole lot of personality. If you’re ready for a dog who is equal parts majestic, mischievous, loving, and hilarious, Mr. Moon is ready to orbit right into your life.
