Story
This handsome, energetic boy is looking for a committed and experienced home where he can truly thrive. He’s a smart, loyal companion with a strong foundation in professional training and a big personality to match! 🎓 Training & Skills: He has been professionally trained in obedience and knows: Sit Down Implied Stay Heel Place He’s familiar with both e-collar and prong collar work, but like many trained dogs, he’ll benefit from consistency and a bit of a “tune-up” to stay sharp. 🍖 Personality & Play: Highly food-motivated (great for continued training!) Loves to play ball—especially durable ones he can’t destroy Enjoys activity, structure, and spending time with his person ⚠️ Important Notes: Can be toy aggressive and food aggressive, so management is key Generally good with other dogs, but due to a recent attack by another male dog, he would do best as the only dog in the home No cats Best suited for a home with older children only 🏡 Ideal Home: This boy will thrive with an experienced dog owner who understands structure, boundaries, and continued training. He’s looking for someone who: Has prior dog experience Can provide consistent leadership and guidance Wants an active companion for adventures and daily engagement Can give him the attention and stability he deserves ❤️ The Bottom Line: He’s a loyal, driven dog with so much potential in the right hands. With structure, patience, and love, he’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion. If you’re ready for a smart, energetic dog who’s eager to bond and explore life by your side, he might be your perfect match! He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. 📩 Reach out to learn more or to meet him!

Story
Luke came from a rural shelter where he was surrendered.  He is 8 yrs old and has been chained most of his life- he has a permanent bald ring around his neck from the chain.  Despite that, he is a sweet boy who is learning to be an inside dog.  He is learning to calm himself by going into his crate when he feels overwhelmed.  He has taken a great liking to his foster dad and will get into his lap to calm himself.  Luke will be starting heart worm treatment soon and will be available at the end of the treatment.  He needs a 6 ft privacy fenced and a family with older respectful kids as he can be too much for little ones when he gets the zoomies.  We don't think he would be good with cats because he shows too much interest in those outside.  He needs a family who is willing to be patient with him and show him what a loving family is and one who will always take good care of him.  If you are looking for a sweet boy who desperately wants to be part of someone's family and are willing to be patient and love him unconditionally, please contact Rainbow Rescue at :  rainbowanimalrescueva@gmail.com or call at 757-472-1583June 2, 2026, 12:13 am

Story
This is Brock, he is a 8 year old German Shepard shar-pei and he is the sweetest and most easygoing dog. Me and my wife are expecting our first baby in June and moving to a different state in July. We are looking for a family that can give him unconditional affection and attention. We have had him since he was a puppy and it is very hard to let him go, but it is in his and our best interest. He is great with kids and other dogs (he gets defensive with other dogs on a leash sometimes but will listen to corrections and has never gotten in a fight with a dog or showed any aggression towards a person) he does need to have an introduction to other dogs and he will have to get used to them but he grew up in a home with foster dogs going in and out and never had any issues. He has all of his shots and is neutered. He is very well trained to simple commands, house trained, and crate trained.

Story
Meet Tito. I had rescued him from a breeder where I also had got his brother. He is 2.5yrs old. Has a great playful and fun loving personality. I socialize them both a lot with other dogs and kids, and he does well, and just wants to play. Unfortunately he is starting to show signs of littermate syndrome, and recourse guarding. It pains me to have to let him go, but y place is just too small, to keep them separated and with my schedule it’s also tough. I think it’s best to find him a forever loving home to keep his best attributes before something between the two of them happens. He’s definitely not professionally trained, but very good with the basics. Sit, stay, come, out, leave it. Does okay on a leash. I don’t really ever use them, and he does well with recall and staying close. Ideal for someone who is active, and outgoing. Also needs to be a loving home as I care a lot for them both. I’ve just had his brother longer..
