Story
This is Sam, he was born on January 26th 2019 and is 7 years old. He is a very good dog unfortunately I am currently struggling to find a place to live. He is a very chill dog, he likes to lay around the house, go on walks and sleep. He would get along with any other animals dogs cats, he has been around some kids but never alone, I couldn't imagine he would do anything bad. He does have some health issues, including seizures which are being treated with mediation which costs ~50 dollars a month, unfortunately I am unable to give it to the new owner due to it being a controlled substance.

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 17, 2026, 12:09 pm

Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.   Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.   An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.   Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.   Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.    Fostered in Tennessee   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Bambino — Ready to Find His People! Some puppies are meant to be your sidekick, your adventure buddy, your passenger in the car and your best friend—and Bambino is definitely one of those puppies! At just 5 months old and 38 pounds, Bambino is an adorable 80% German Shepherd/20% Husky mix who may grow to around 50 pounds when he is finished growing. He’s got the beautiful Shepherd look, those amazing ears, and a fun-loving personality packed into a manageable size. Bambino was adopted by a single gentleman who quickly realized that his busy work schedule and apartment lifestyle weren't the right fit for a young, active puppy. He made the responsible decision to ask Critter Cavalry Rescue to help find Bambino a home where he can truly have the life he deserves. And we think Bambino is going to make someone an incredible companion. He is a happy, confident puppy who approaches life with a “let's go!” attitude. He loves to play, enjoys a good case of the zoomies when he has room to run, and is happy to head out for a walk with his person on the other end of the leash. He is wonderful with other dogs and cats, loves meeting new people, and greets the world with a wagging tail and that adorable puppy smile. He also LOVES riding in the car, so if your idea of a good day includes grabbing your BFF and heading out for an adventure, Bambino is ready to ride shotgun! ❤️ A fenced yard and an active family would be ideal for him, along with people who have plenty of time to spend with their young dog. Bambino would happily join you for hiking, trails, outdoor adventures, morning jogs, errands or just whatever the day brings. He doesn't need to be entertained every second—he simply wants to be included. Most of all, Bambino needs a family who understands that bringing home a puppy is a commitment and who is ready to make him their forever boy. He has so much potential to grow into that wonderful dog who goes everywhere with you and becomes an important part of your family. We just need to find the people who are ready to make that commitment to him. Could Bambino be your next adventure buddy and lifelong BFF? To learn more or request an adoption application, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. We would love to tell you more about this special boy and help you see if Bambino might be the perfect fit for your family. Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are wanting to adopt or more information.  Thank you!!!       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 17, 2026, 12:09 pm

Story
Loki is a 6 year old Siberian Husky. He has been with us since he was 2 months old. House trained?!!! he is a husky, so that pretty much tells you that he is trained to what he wants to be trained on🤪It saddens the family to re-home him, but it is unfair for him to stay with us. Our work schedule and kids’ school can no longer suffice his needs. We’re in need to rehome him.

Story
Meet Babe! Rescued from the devastating San Diego wildfires, Babe emerged not just as a survivor—but as a devoted and loving mother. By her side through it all was her son, Buster, and the bond they share is nothing short of extraordinary. Babe has a calm, nurturing spirit. She’s incredibly gentle, affectionate, and seems to carry a quiet wisdom in her soulful eyes. Despite the trauma they endured, Babe remains loving and full of heart. Her motherly instincts shine through in everything she does—whether she’s keeping a watchful eye on Buster, nudging him gently during walks, or snuggling close when he needs comfort. Babe and Buster are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. After everything they’ve faced, they deserve a safe, forever home where they can continue to heal side by side—and fill it with love, loyalty, and the quiet strength that carried them through the all they have been through. Story
Meet Buster. He is soulful Husky mix with a gentle heart and a deep bond with his mom, Babe. Rescued together from the San Diego wildfires, Buster has leaned on his mother for comfort, safety, and guidance through unimaginable hardship. Their bond is powerful—built on survival, love, and unwavering trust—and they’re looking for a forever home where they can stay side by side. Still a bit shy and sensitive, he follows his mom Babe whether they’re exploring the yard, going on walks, or settling in for a nap. With her by his side, he feels safe. Though reserved at first, Buster is sweet, affectionate, and incredibly loyal once he opens up. He enjoys gentle attention, belly rubs, and quiet companionship. Buster and Babe are a bonded pair—inseparable since the fires. They are ready for a home where they can continue their journey of healing together, offering not just companionship but a quiet, powerful reminder of resilience, love, and hope. Ask one of our care team members for a meet and greet with this duo.
