Hello, my name is Cookie, and I'm ready to find the forever home I've been dreaming of. I've had quite a journey so far. I was a mama not once, but twice, and I worked very hard raising my babies into wonderful cats. Now that all of my kittens have grown up, it's finally my turn to be someone's baby. I'm an independent lady who knows what I like. I enjoy gentle pets and attention, but I prefer them in moderation. Being picked up and held isn't really my thing, but I'll happily show my affection by rubbing against your legs and keeping you company throughout the day. One of my favorite ways to spend time is lounging in a sunny cat tree while watching the world go by through the window. When I'm ready for a nap, you'll usually find me curled up in a cozy cave bed. I also have a playful side—jingle balls and feather toys are some of my absolute favorites! I am a very skilled huntress!! I've been returned 3 times through no fault of my own, which has been confusing for me. Even so, I haven't given up hope that my perfect family is still out there. I can tolerate other cats as long as they give me space, but I would be happy as your only cat for sure! What I'm looking for is someone who understands that love comes in many forms. I may not be a lap cat, but I have a sweet heart, a gentle spirit, and so much companionship to offer. All I need is a patient family willing to love me for exactly who I am.

I may look like a sophisticated young guy with my tabby and white tuxedo coat, but I can mix it up with the best of them! My brother Daxter, and sister Ella have been my playmates since we were itty bitty kitties, and I still enjoy the games we played: Chasing the red laser dot, grabbing the fishy at the end of a wand and I especially like batting those felt mice under a door (and waiting for them to reappear!). I am also a well-rounded guy...I've learned to relax with some quiet time, too - and I enjoy affection from my foster family. Approach me slowly and I will gladly accept pets, ear scratches, and even lap cuddles when I get to know you. (A little Churu on a finger is a great icebreaker!) My foster folks say I'm a pro with the litter box, and have been a pleasant guest to have around.
