Story
Meet Sweet Bonnie! Bonnie came into our care after living in a very stressful home. She was not treated well by the people she lived with and had a hard time trusting us, so we sent her into a foster home, where it was quiet and she could adjust to the good life. During her time in foster she was really slow to come around to trusting people. But with a lot of time, and care and LOVE she is starting to see the sweet side of life and showing her foster mom that all of her hard work paid off. Bonnie is still nervous of people, and doesn't seek out touch, but she will seek her foster mom out for play, treats, she likes to be in the same room hanging out, and is starting to look for and accept pets. Bonnie will need to go into a quiet home, with one or two adults only. She will need someone open to giving her time and space to trust but once she does she will be the most beautiful, quiet companion you could ask for. Bonnie does not want to share her home with any other animals .If you think you would be the perfect home for this amazing girl, and want to be a part of her transformation to becoming a happy confident cat please send an application online and we will reach out to approved applicants. Story
Angel is a sweet but shy girl who was recently surrendered to us when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Understandably, the change has been a lot for her, and she's still adjusting to her new surroundings. With time, patience, and gentle care, Angel is beginning to come out of her shell - and we're sure there's a loving, affectionate cat just waiting to shine through.Angel would do best in a calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who can give her the space and security she needs to feel safe. If you have a peaceful home and a kind heart, Angel may just be the perfect companion for you. Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.dogs:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/cats:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/Our visiting hours are:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5Thursday, Public Holidays: closedSaturday, Sunday: 12-4 Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.03 Age: 13yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Coming into foster after being found as a stray, Pudge was scared, shy, and reserved. He kept to himself all day, came out for food, and went straight back under the coffee table. After a few weeks of gentle encouragement and patience, he has since decided that he is safe in our apartment and his loving personality is emerging! Pudge's favourite things in the whole world are cheek scratches, brushing sessions, and food. While leaning into chin scratches or sticking his bum up for brushing, he drools and purrs constantly. When we try to walk away, he runs in front of us meowing for more! He greets us when we come home, and follows us around the house either observing what we are doing or hoping we'll bend down to scratch his head.So far, Pudge has shown some light interest in playing with toys. He'd much rather spend his energy getting brushed rather than playing, it seems. We hear him playing by himself in the living room at night, but otherwise he doesn't bother us when we're sleeping. Pudge is currently in foster so please apply for him online!cats:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/Our visiting hours are:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5Thursday, Public Holidays: closedSaturday, Sunday: 12-4 Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 6.15 Age: 2yrs 1mths 3wks
