Story
Meet Gus!This shy gentleman is looking for a patient and cat-savvy forever home to help him come out of his shell.Gus has had a turbulent past, and due to this he would do best as the only animal in the home. He takes a while to warm up, but once he knows and trusts you he will come to you for pets and love. Gus loves to play with toys and will bring them to you! His foster often wakes up to toys left on her and her blankets.Gus still startles easily at loud noises, so a calm and quiet household would be ideal for him. An adult-only home with lots of cat experience is what he's looking for.Do you think you could be Gus's person?Gus is in foster at the moment, so please submit an online application and staff will be in touch with selected applicants.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/Our visiting hours are:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5Thursday, Public Holidays: closedSaturday, Sunday: 12-4 Primary Color: Black Weight: 4.99 Age: 5yrs 3mths 1wks

Story
Mowgli is the most personable cat! He knows his name and will come to you, one of his favorite pastimes is to play with the laser toy. When it's time to rest, he'll sleep near you. He'll happily join nearby if you're watching TV and loves to bump heads at the end of the day. He enjoys being an only fur child, and has not had any exposure to kids. Mowgli can't wait to meet you!

Story
Sid is a good natured, loving senior boy. When he came to VOKRA, Sid was in desperate search of a warm lap, caring words of affirmation, and food; but he quickly turned a corner. Today, Sid is a calm, confident, loving, and playful little buddy. He loves body contact and his humans, and he'll wait patiently for them to come home from outings. Sid is very playful, running around like a race car, skidding into walls, and walking off his minor embarrassments. In fact, he's happiest being the centre of attention and playing with his people at least once a day. He enjoys zooming around after meals and chasing toys on strings, balls, and anything that skitters on the ground. Once play time is over, he's happy to do his own thing: sleep, look out the window, or groom himself. He loves to be pet (even by strangers) but watch for overstimulation. However, he's careful with his swats and won’t scratch you on purpose. Sid is still fattening up a bit, so he eats 3 square meals a day plus a late-night snack. This energetic little guy would do well with an experienced cat owner who can provide some feline routines, and in a quiet home where he can enjoy his well-deserved daytime naps.
