Story
Meet MoMo! MoMo is a playful, energetic, and highly intelligent cat looking for his forever home. He’s full of charm—whether he’s making air biscuits, stretching dramatically, or supervising your daily routine. MoMo is looking for an adopter who understands cat behavior and can provide the interactive play, structure and patience he requires. About MoMo: Morning Routine Pro: MoMo starts his day with curiosity and adventure. Whether he’s chasing his favorite laser toy or “helping” in the bathroom, he’ll be your cheerful morning companion. Engaged and Social: He loves being involved in daily activities—watching wildlife from the window, supervising chores, or keeping you company at your desk (though he prefers quiet during Zoom calls). Affectionate—On His Terms: When the mood is right, he’ll cozy up for a nap on your lap or keep you warm by snuggling under the covers on cold nights. Smart and Playful: MoMo thrives on mental stimulation, enjoys treat puzzles, and would likely excel with clicker training or other interactive toys (although he can be picky!) What You Need to Know About MoMo: MoMo is a big cat with a big personality! While he loves attention and play, he can become overstimulated—especially when he’s excited or hasn’t had enough activity. When this happens, he may react by biting or scratching. When he gets overly excited, he may just need a brief timeout or someone who can redirect his energy appropriately. Cats like MoMo are hunters and they like to catch their prey! So, fast movements (like feet) may trigger his hunter instinct! He benefits from structured playtime and consistent routines to help manage his impulses. What MoMo Needs in a Home: While MoMo is social and is quite the character, he needs a patient and loving adopter. He needs someone who understands his behavior, is willing to work with his quirks and won’t take his occasional outbursts personally. An Active Home (But Not Chaotic): MoMo thrives with daily engagement, so a home where someone is around often would be ideal. Since he can get overstimulated, young children would not be a good fit. No Other Pets: MoMo was attacked by a dog or large animal before coming into rescue, leaving him wary of some dogs. While he has enjoyed living with other cats, we feel he will be happier if he does not have to share the attention. MoMo is estimated to be around 3 years old. His coloring resembles a Russian Blue, but his lineage is unknown. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. MoMo is a sweet and entertaining cat who is looking for love from someone who can give him the attention and structure that he needs. He is being fostered in Denver. His adoption fee is $125. Story
Beastie is a handsome three-year old gray domestic shorthaired cat who is looking for his forever home! His need for love and his silly meow makes him totally endearing! He enjoys running after toys like a soccer player, playing hide and seek, and follows his foster mom from room to room. He also is good at just hanging out and getting attention. Once familiar with you he will climb in your lap and lean on you for head scratchies. He likes to be close to his people but is also happy to do his own thing. Still somewhat skittish and energetic, he will occasionally be a little hyper (full room zoomies) and can bat his paws when startled. He responds well to “no” if he gets too excited. He just needs a break from playing during those times, which he does well with. He has become more trusting, relaxed and wanting love without the competition of additional cats in the house. He did become more stressed and fearful when the other cats were in the home and he is currently on a prescription urinary diet. Beastie’s previous owner rescued him after he was found fending for himself during a Denver snowstorm. He was fearful and frail and she nursed him back to health and kept him along with several other cats that she had rescued from similar situations. He was scared and defensive of the other cats, so he was kept separately. After his owner passed away unexpectedly, her sister became the caretaker of her cats and is currently fostering Beastie. She is not able to keep any of the cats as she is also caring for her elderly father. Beastie needs a patient, caring, and experienced cat person who would be committed to continuing to allow him to come out of his shell and give him the love he needs. He would be best in a home with no young kiddos and no other cats or dogs. He deserves a peaceful environment, and time to adjust, with free rein of a home as a single kitty. He will be missed, but he deserves to have someone care for him as well as his original owner did. Here are more video links of this sweet boy. https://youtu.be/HRmwjiV2xoo?si=E2YXZ5Mu_5wpUYzK Beastie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. He is litter box trained. He is being fostered in Westminster. His adoption fee is $125.
