Story
Mochi, along with his six siblings, were born to a "community cat." Their mom, Minx, a Lilac Point Siamese, was being fed with others but not spayed. When she turned up pregnant, the feeder waited until she was ready to deliver before he contacted us. Since Minx was clearly about to give birth, we set her up in our nursery. Sure enough, the very next day, she delivered seven babies. Their foster mom was present for the births, and it's a good thing! Minx had three breach babies on March 26th. On April 14th, we took in an orphaned single kitten of the same age. This little family accepted "Kimba" as one of their own. Minx raised all eight babies with such love and devotion that we are hoping she can be adopted with a pair of her littles. Mochi is a little sweetheart. While quite playful, he tends to be on the gentle and quiet side. His best friends seem to be Inky and Louie, but he would be happy to be adopted with any of his buddies. Our kittens are adopted in pairs, as we strongly believe that (for all involved) two is much better than one! DOB: 3/28/24

Story
Hello, world! Meet our newest little siblings, McKinley and her brother, Tyler (DOB: 5/27/25 or so) How'd they get here? Our friend and rescue partner, Ruth of Tip My Ear, answered a knock on her door and there they were, in the arms of neighborhood kids. Of course, she took them in and called us right away, as she had nowhere to put them. They are precious. They are smart. They are purry. They are brave. They are hilarious to watch. McKinley and Tyler are bonded and will be adopted to their forever home together. Get your application in!

Story
Ravadoll and her mom, Mamacita, lost their person in July, 2025. They had been neglected by her for some time prior, due to her physical difficulties. The girls had been left alone in the home since her passing and were visited daily by a family member. They've been with us since 10/23 and have acclimated very well. Ravadoll is a quite girl, who welcomes attention and pets. The pair are not particularly bonded, but get along very well with each other. They can each be a bit testy with the other cats, but that is to be expected - having lived alone their entire lives and now are just two of many, some very active "teens." All in all, Ravadoll and Mamacita are doing extremely well, showing their ability to adapt to all scenarios. Once in a new home with less cats and activity, we feel certain that all will go well. They deserve to live out their lives with love, being cared for as they should. Ravadoll required a dental procedure upon admission, and six teeth were extracted. Her overall health is very good. Unless someone wants to adopt the pair, Mamacita (13 years old) will remain with us as a hospice case. She suffers from kidney disease and slight hyperthyroidism. Mamacita tends to roam the sanctuary, moving about with grace and curiosity, while Ravadoll pretty much stays put in one place.
