Adopted her at six weeks from local animal shelter. I always had an older cat when she came to me. Unfortunately, my older cat ran away about two months ago and we have been unable to locate her. Mittens has been very visibly missing our other cat. She needs another cat to play with and I am not wanting to get another cat. They were very active together running and playing throughout the house constantly. Also, I moved the litter box and she refuses to use it in the new location and will pee/poop throughout the home. However, if I relocate it to the old location she will use it just fine. The reason I had to move it was due to a temporary fix- it was in the kitchen and never intended to remain there. I’ve moved the litter box numerous times throughout the house without issue so this seems to be behavioral. I think she will be much happier with another cat in the home. I have three children so she is also used to kids. My kids are a little bit older now and don’t bother with her as much

Story
I adopted Moose when he was 8 weeks old. For 2 years it was just him and I at home. He’s very loving and sweet and loves to play and cuddle. Recently I moved in with a partner and their cat. Moose is having a hard time adjusting to this and it’s causing him to be stressed and anxious. He still loves to cuddle and play but a home with no other pets might be best for him. He needs someone who will be patient with him, because he will be scared the first few days or weeks. But with slow introduction and love and care he will be the best cat.
