Story
Pompei is a female Domestic Shorthair and Tabby mixed kitty who is about 2 years old. Pompei is a clever, confident little shadow who’s always close by. She’s curious without being reckless, loyal without being clingy, and has a sharp sense for when she’s needed. Equal parts playful and observant, she prefers to watch first—then act decisively. Strengths: - Quietly brave - Highly intuitive - Fast learner - Excellent emotional support Pompei doesn’t steal the spotlight—she enhances it. Whether offering silent encouragement, comic relief, or unexpected problem-solving, she makes every adventure better just by being there. She is described as a 'Sidekick'. Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble, but I'm no scaredy-cat, either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further. It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young). Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. . Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. . All animals will be bathed and treated for fleas/ear mites. Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption. Adoption fees: Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two! Story
Biggums is a female Domestic Shorthair and Tortie mixed kitty. Ready for a science lesson? There are two scientific possibilities for how Biggums got her cute split face: One is formed from the fusion of two separate embryos in the early stages of pregnancy, resulting in one cat with two distinct sets of DNA, called a Chimera Cat. This rare genetic occurrence often leads to a striking split-faced appearance with two different fur colors and sometimes mismatched eye colors. The other results from early, random x-chromosome inactivation during development, which causes different fur color genes (orange or black) to express on opposite sides of the face. It's kind of like embryo origami, and is called a Mosaic Cat. The good thing is, it’s only fur, and is not indicative of any developmental problems with her health. While we can't know for sure which version Biggums is without a DNA test, we know she's adorable and ready for a home. She is described as a 'Love Bug'. Do you seek affection? I do! If you also like petting, purrs, and paws kneading your lap, I think we might have a LOT in common. I'm looking for "someone who enjoys quiet times and togetherness." Could that someone be you? It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. Story
Glacier is a male Domestic Shorthair kitty who is about 7 years old. This sweet boy has been through a bit recently—when he first came to the shelter he had lice and was so uncomfortable that he was pulling his hair out. The good news is that Glacier is now on medication and starting to feel much better. With treatment and a little time, his coat should continue to improve as he relaxes and settles in. Despite everything he’s been through, Glacier is a gentle and resilient cat who simply wants a safe, loving place to call home. He’s past the wild kitten phase and appreciates the quieter things in life—cozy beds, calm companionship, and someone to keep him company. Since Glacier is brand new to the adoption room, we’re still getting to know his personality, but he’s already showing us what a special boy he is. What he needs most now is a forever family who will give him patience, comfort, and the loving home he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and want to help a sweet cat continue his healing journey, Glacier might be the perfect match for you. Come meet him and see if this handsome guy could be your new best friend. It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young). Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. .
