Story
Dynasty aka Penelope is a female Domestic Shorthair kitty who is about 5.5 years old.Penelope may look like she's judging your life choices from across the room, but don't let that grumpy face fool you. Life at the shelter can be stressful, and we suspect some of Penelope's famous "attitude" is simply her way of coping with all the changes. She's the kind of cat who prefers to take things at her own pace. Give her a little time, a little space, and a lot of patience, and you'll discover the loving cat hiding beneath that serious expression.Penelope isn't likely to be the cat who leaps into your lap on day one. Instead, she'll quietly watch from nearby, slowly building trust until one day you realize she's become your loyal companion. Those relationships are often the most rewarding. If you appreciate cats with a little personality, a little sass, and a lot of potential, Penelope could be the perfect match. All she needs is someone willing to see past her grumpy exterior and give her the chance to shine. She is is described as a 'Secret Admirer'. When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me, but I'll be thinking a lot of you! It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction.Adoption fees:Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two!Dogs - $155For more information on this animal contact washingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.comor call 319-653-6713All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young).Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. We recommend crate training until you’re confident that your dog is used to his/her new home.
