Story
I found this cat at my work, I work at a concrete production plant. He was all dirty and looked starving so I fed him on my lunch break and me and my girlfriend came and picked him up afyer my shift, we gave him a bath and got him shots at a vet in cedar rapids. Hes been at our house for around 2 months hes very very cuddly and super nice but he hates our cat and we have to keep him separated. Hes getting used to the litter box and doesn't really have accidents but he does chew stuff up every now and then but we just cant keep him with how he reacts around our house cat. Im not looking to get any money from anyone and I dont want to take him to the shelter here because its a kill shelter I just want to give this kitty a good home where he doesn't need to be locked in a room most of the time and can get the attention he deserves.

Story
This little 4‑month‑old kitten is looking for a loving forever home. He doesn’t have a name yet — I found him outside after his mother abandoned him, and he had been attacked by a raccoon before I could bring him in. He has a small scar on his neck from that, but the vet says he’s healthy. His bloodwork came back clear for feline leukemia and FIV, and he’s already had his first round of shots, with the second coming up soon. Because he grew up outdoors with no human contact, he was very scared at first. With patience and gentle handling, he’s slowly learning to trust and is becoming more comfortable every day. He plays with our cats, enjoys toys, and is cautiously curious about our 60‑lb dog — he’ll sniff her but prefers to keep his distance. We already have three cats and a large dog, so we can’t keep him. He’s a resilient, sweet kitten who deserves a safe, loving home.

Story
Rita only has three legs. She was found at company that I worked for that has recently closed. She's a talkative girl. Three legs is not a problem for her. My human can no longer keep me as a family crisis has come up and is not home enough to take care of me. She will pay for half of my spaying fee.

Story
Due to the fact that this wonderful kitty has been overlooked for some reason or another, we are willing to waive the adoption fee hoping that this will help find this loving kitty a forever home.So with an approved application you can take this kitty home for free!Hushpuppy is a male Domestic Shorthair adult kitty. Some cats ask for the spotlight. Hushpuppy would rather share it.He may be a little shy at first, but behind those gentle eyes is one of the biggest hearts we've ever seen. Hushpuppy has taken on the role of surrogate dad to our tiniest kittens, happily curling up with them, keeping them warm, and offering them comfort whenever they need it. Watching him snuggled up with babies who aren't even his is enough to melt anyone's heart. Now it's Hushpuppy's turn to be cared for. He's looking for a patient family who will give him the time to blossom and the love he's so freely given to others. We know that once he feels safe, he'll become the quiet, loyal companion you've always hoped for. After spending so much of his time comforting little ones, we think it's time someone showed Hushpuppy just how loved he is. Could that someone be you?He is described as a 'Secret Admirer'. When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me, but I'll be thinking a lot of you! It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction.Adoption fees:Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two!Dogs - $155For more information on this animal contact washingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.comor call 319-653-6713All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young).Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. We recommend crate training until you’re confident that your dog is used to his/her new home. For more information visit: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/virtual-pet-behaviorist/dog-behavior/weekend-crate-training.Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. All animals will be bathed and treated for fleas/ear mites. Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption. For an application to adopt, go to:https://www.pawsandmorewashington.org/adoptIf you cannot currently adopt, donations are ALWAYS welcome via our website Donate Now button at pawsandmorewashington.org Or mail to:PAWS and More Animal Shelter 1004 1/2 West Madison, Washington, IA 52353To sponsor an animal, emailwashingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.comor call 319-653-6713.Hours:Monday closedTuesday thru Sunday noon to 4 Get directions at:washingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.comTo foster an animal (any length of time), complete the questionnaire atpawsandmorewashington.org/foster

His friendly, affectionate nature makes him a favorite everywhere he goes.I spend my days soaking up love from the residents, making new friends, and doing what I do best—bringing smiles and joy wherever I go.Being everyone's favorite is pretty fun, but what I'd really love is a team of my very own. I dream of having a forever family to greet each morning, curl up with at night, and share all my affection with. The folks at Oaknoll think I'm pretty special, and I have to admit, I enjoy all the attention! But even MVPs need a home field advantage, and I'm ready to trade my temporary digs for a happily-ever-after.If you're looking for a friendly companion who's already proven he can brighten people's days, I'm your guy. Come meet me and see why everyone at Oaknoll has fallen for me—I just might bring a little extra joy to your home.He is described as an 'MVP'. I'm a savvy cat who knows the score. I'm pretty unflappable, too. I don't mind entertaining myself, but a human companion at the other end of the couch and a nice scratch behind the ears always make my day. If you're looking for a resourceful addition to your team, think about signing this Most Valuable Pussycat.
