Story
We found Maisy as a kitten in July 2021 (she was hiding in a prairie in our neighborhood and we heard a tiny meow while we were walking our golden retriever one night). She adjusted well to our gentle dog and has grown into a very playful and affectionate adult cat. She is a very pretty and chonky girl, purrs a lot and loves to headbutt people and show her tummy. She gets along well with all people except she has become wary of our teenaged sons, possibly due to her being startled by loud sounds or voices and/or fearful of their height. Most of the time she is affectionate with everyone (including our sons), but there have been two incidents recently where she has lashed out and attacked and scratched our 16-year-old son when he surprised her with a loud noise or sudden movement. We are sad to lose her but think she will thrive in a quieter and more predictable household.
