Story
Hi, i’m Beetle! I’m around 4 years old and I was a stray my whole life until someone brought me to the shelter, and I was adopted about 2 months later. I fell in love with Beetle right away and there wasn’t really much information on her, but I was willing to take her in and give her a nice life finally after being outside. She’s EXTREMELY active and requires a lot of enrichment. She does not do well with dogs at all. We’ve been trying for almost 6 months with our 2 dogs and there has been no progress at all. I have an older cat who’s 8 and has bad asthma, Beetle will chase and attack her 24/7. It’s making cat’s asthma a lot worse. I recommend a home with NO other pets and a very attentive owner OR a home with a VERY active playful younger cat. She can be very destructive and I’ve deterred some of that by having cardboard boxes around, but unfortunately the carpet still gets ripped out or the walls get scratched up.

Choppa is a great cat! She does have all her claws, but we haven’t had an issue with that! She is very timid and shy so I do believe she would do best in a household without other pets and small children, however she does just fine with them! Please reach out if you have any questions!
