Story
Izzie is a petite senior girl who spent her early years surviving as a community cat. When it became clear she wasn’t thriving outdoors, a kind-hearted volunteer helped her find her way to safety and eventually into our care. At just under 4 pounds when she arrived, this little lady was in rough shape—but with love, good food, and a soft place to land, she’s blossoming. Now over 5 pounds and gaining strength, Izzie is showing us her true self: sweet, snuggly, and completely lovable.
She adores being held like a baby and will purr away in your arms without a care in the world. Izzie gets along beautifully with other cats and has a calm, mellow demeanor—though every now and then, her playful side comes out in the cutest ways (ask her about her paper towel roll obsession!).
Izzie does have a minor medical quirk—due to age or past health issues, she sometimes has a little trouble with her bowels. She knows to use the litter box, but on rare occasions, poop slips out without her realizing. It’s not constant, and she’s still a very clean girl, but she’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can love her just as she is.
This darling girl has overcome so much and still has so much love to give. If you have room in your heart and home for a senior sweetheart who just wants to be close and cherished, Izzie would love to be your girl.
Izzie's estimated birthday is 9/22/2015. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped with lifetime registration. She also had bloodwork and a UA done that both came back normal!
