Rikki has been patiently waiting for her forever home for over a year… but she`s not going to settle until just the right match comes along. She’s a lady who knows what she wants and isn’t shy about sharing her opinions. Rikki has plenty to say and even more love to give. During a short stay in foster care with one of our staff members, Rikki truly let her big personality shine outside of the shelter environment. She’s a chatty girl who loves to “talk” about her day, make plenty of biscuits, and curl up for cozy cuddle sessions. At the shelter, offering her a churro treat is the quickest way to convince her you’re her new best friend.Our medical team has been managing Rikki’s IBS with a prescription diet and medications, and she’s doing well with that routine- she`ll need an adopter who`s comfortable with this daily regiment. The good news is that she takes her meds like a total champ—just tuck them into a treat and she’s so excited she doesn’t even notice. To keep her prescriptions going, she’ll need to have a veterinary relationship established at the time of adoption. Rikki would prefer to be the only cat in the home so she can soak up all the attention she deserves.
