Story
Meryl has been such a sweet and comforting part of my life. But lately, work, stress, and my health have made it hard for me to give her the time and attention she deserves. Rehoming her is honestly heartbreaking, but I love her enough to know she deserves a home where she can get more care, play, and attention than I’m able to give right now. I just want her to be happy. She is very close with my other female cat, so it’s preferred that they go to the same home as each other.

Story
Meet Wednesday! Like her namesake, Wednesday has mastered the art of the dramatic stare. With her striking black-and-white coat and serious expression, she gives off major Wednesday Addams vibes but underneath that mysterious exterior is a sweet cat who`s just trying to navigate a very overwhelming situation. Shelter life hasn`t been Wednesday`s favorite chapter. New sights, sounds, and strangers have left her feeling anxious and unsure, so she`s currently keeping her circle small and her personal bubble firmly intact. But don`t let her reserved demeanor fool you. In a home, where she can settle in at her own pace, Wednesday has shown that she`s capable of being a loving and affectionate companion. Now, every diva has standards, and Wednesday is no exception. She has made it very clear that female cats are not on her guest list, but she may be willing to share her kingdom with a respectful male cat. Small dogs are acceptable subjects as well, though large dogs are simply far too intimidating for a lady of her stature. Wednesday can also do well with respectful children who understand that trust takes time. While she may be shy at first, once she feels safe and comfortable, she absolutely adores kids and enjoys being part of the family. Wednesday isn`t looking for a home that expects instant cuddles and endless confidence on day one. She`s looking for someone who will give her patience, understanding, and the chance to bloom at her own speed. Earn her trust, and you`ll discover that beneath the spooky, mysterious exterior is a very sweet girl who`s been waiting for the right person all along.

Story
White Cheddar is the definition of a sweetheart wrapped in a layer of nervous uncertainty. This handsome boy came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past, but it’s clear that new situations can feel very overwhelming for him at first. When he’s scared, his first instinct is to run away and hide while he’s figuring out whether he can trust the people around him. But once White Cheddar feels safe, he completely melts into the affectionate, loving cat he truly is. He absolutely adores head pets, cuddles, and being close to his people and by “close,” we mean he fully believes your personal space is also his personal space. Expect him to be right in the middle of whatever you’re doing, happily soaking up attention and companionship.Because of his sensitive nature, White Cheddar would likely do best in a quieter home with patient adults or older, respectful kids who can understand when he needs time and space to adjust. Since we don’t know his history with other animals, we think he’d be happiest starting out as the only pet so he can settle into his new home and build confidence at his own pace. For the person willing to give him patience and understanding, White Cheddar will reward you with endless affection and a bond that’s incredibly special.

Story
Felix may be a senior gentleman, but retirement isn`t really his style. This curious boy believes every corner deserves investigating, every new object deserves inspecting, and every household activity deserves his direct supervision. Outgoing and friendly, Felix loves being part of whatever is going on around him. He`s always ready to check out a new room, investigate an interesting sound, or simply keep an eye on his people to make sure everything is running according to his standards. When he`s finished with his detective work, Felix is more than happy to collect his payment in the form of pets and cuddles. Head scratches and cheek rubs are his absolute favorite, and he`ll gladly soak up all the affection you`re willing to give. He does have one rule, however: he`d prefer that his legs remain a no-petting zone. Every gentleman is entitled to a few boundaries! Felix is also a connoisseur of cozy spots. Give him a warm place to curl up, and he`ll be in heaven. One of his favorite locations? Right on top of a warm dryer, where he can enjoy the finer things in life: comfort, relaxation, and a perfectly heated nap. Felix would do best in an adult-only home without dogs, as they`re simply not his cup of tea. He does, however, get along well with other cats and may enjoy having a feline friend around. If you`re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion with plenty of personality, a curious mind, and a love of cozy naps, Felix is ready to investigate the possibility of becoming your new best friend.
