I am playful with my kennel mates and have excellent manners with them as you can tell in the photo with my pal Eenie. I was timid when I first arrived, but the love I've received at BestPals has helped me be my very best self. I would love to be your forever Best Pal!

I'm Lexi. I have a sparkling personality with a touch of sass! I am very curious and can't wait to explore when given time outside my kennel. I am chatty when volunteers first arrive, but after I've finished updating them with my news, I am less talkative. I can't wait to show you what a fun companion I am!

**For the months of April-May 2025 we have decreased her adoption fee from $75 to $45 in hopes this helps her find her fur-ever home!** Meet Ebony!  She was previously known as Bashful but she had a name change as she is not Bashful at all.  She is very affectionate and friendly, and she LOVES people! She is currently in a foster home with people and another adult cat. Her foster family says her and the other adult cat avoid each other for the most part. She has lived with other cats before, but humans are her most favorite. She loves to snuggle up with people, lay at your feet when you're reading, purr and talk to you whenever you are wanting to have a conversation. Bashful has had a dental cleaning, we did senior bloodwork on her (with no significant concerns on the results), and she is current on all her vaccines. She is also fecal tested and negative on fecal parasites, microchipped and spayed. She is ready to find her fur-ever home! She is about 8 years and 8 months old as of January 2025. Bashful is litter box trained but she will only use a covered litter box. She likes her privacy (wink). The $75.00 adoption fee (  payable by cash or check only  ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; senior bloodwork, microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV/and heartworm testing.  Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application.
