Story
Jackie is a 14-year-old calico with a personality as complex as her beautiful coat. She's a mix of curiosity and caution, showing a social side that blossoms once she feels safe. Initially shy and easily overwhelmed, she needs a calm environment to truly shine. With time and space, Jackie's playful side pops out, revealing a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys attention on her own terms. Ideal for a quiet home with older kids or teens, Jackie is best as the only pet, where she can be the center of your world. Give her patience, and she'll reward you with loyalty.

Story
Luna is a young petite cutie, estimated to be about 2 years old (born approximately 6/10/23). She had been living outside as a friendly stray until her rescuer decided to bring her inside which happened to be just in time for her give birth to two kittens. One of her kittens has found a new home but Luna is quite bonded to her other kitten, Invis, and they want to stay together in their new forever home. She is enjoying the inside life and has become a great window watcher and enjoys sitting on laps. Luna was a great mom to her sweet babies but she has now been spayed so she won’t be adding to the cat population any longer. She enjoys being brushed and having her belly petted. She would most likely enjoy sleeping with her new family if they let her. She is mostly a quiet cat but can be vocal when it is meal time. She loves her Yeoww! catnip toys. When she was living outside, she would happily greet people that she came in contact with so we suspect that she would do the same with visitors to her new home. Luna lives in a home with other cats and ferrets. She isn’t particularly fond of the ferrets but as long as there is a proper introduction to another cat, she would likely do just fine with another gentle cat. We don’t know how she is with dogs or children. Can you make room in your heart and home to give this sweet young gal a fresh start along with her adorable daughter, Invis? Two cats are always better than one!

Story
Nani is a front declawed 12 year old incredibly sweet girl (born 10/11/2012). She needs to be adopted with her best friend Lucy. These precious girls are bonded and have been together nearly their entire lives. Nani enjoys being brushed and having her belly petted. She has a squeaky meow when she’s hungry and is trying to get your attention. She is a greeter when friends visit but if it becomes too loud or overwhelming, she will find a place to curl up with Lucy until things calm down. Everyone who meets her enjoys spending time with her. Nani is very much a feeler and healing little girl. Whenever emotions come up or if you are in pain, she almost always comes to you and lays right by the source of hurt. When her previous owner had surgery, she came and lay down by the spot where the surgery was and put her paw near it. She has lived with children before and has done fine with them but in her new home, she prefers adults and older children who won’t chase her and will just allow her to come to them when she’s ready. She lived with a dog for a few years so depending on the temperament of the dog it may be okay. We don’t know how she will be with cats other than Lucy. Nani will play with a wand toy as long as you bring it to her. Otherwise, one of her most favorite things is to lay around most of the day relaxing. She is a little on the chunky side and would benefit from a diet to lose a little weight. She recently had a dental which is a great benefit to an adopter to have this already done. She will enjoy sleeping on your bed with you. Two cats are always better than one and a bonded pair of sweet senior gals is a wonderful choice to provide great joy to you for the retirement years!
