About Me Hi there! I’m one of the newest residents at The PURRfect Match Cat Adoption Center, and I’m still settling into all the new sights, sounds, and routines around here. Because I just arrived, my friends at The Rescue Crew are still getting to know my personality, favorite things, and what kind of home will help me thrive best. For now, I’ll likely be spending my days relaxing and acclimating in a cozy kitty condo while I take everything in at my own pace. Big changes can be a little overwhelming at first, so kind voices, gentle pets, and patient humans help me feel safer and more confident each day. Looking for a kitten who does it all? Meet Velvet! Velvet is the ultimate, well-rounded companion—a perfect mix of curious and cautious, playful and cuddly. While he is an absolute fierce hunter when it comes to dangly feather toys, he is also an absolute sweetheart who does wonderful being held. He strikes a perfect balance in his daily routine: he splits his time between independent exploration, wresting with his siblings, and sweetly checking in with his favorite humans. Velvet is ready to smoothly weave his way into your heart! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. About Me Hi there… I’m David. And yes, I know I’m handsome. I try not to let it go to my head though. I’m a sweet, quiet little guy who arrived at The PURRfect Match earlier this May, and while I can be a bit shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long before my true personality starts to shine. Give me a little patience, a calm voice, and some gentle pets, and before you know it I’ll be rolling onto my back asking for more attention — maybe even a belly rub or two if you’re lucky. That’s kind of my thing, actually. Once I trust you, I become a total softie. I love affection, enjoy being near my people, and have mastered the art of the “cute belly flop” to request extra rubbins. I’m not loud or demanding about it though — I’m more of a quiet companion who just enjoys feeling safe, loved, and included. I also have refined culinary tastes. While some cats go wild for wet food, I personally prefer dry food. Crunchy snacks? Now we’re talking. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate young cat who just needs a little time to bloom into your loyal cuddle buddy, I think we should meet.
