Story
Surprise! I'm Susan. I am a gray female tabby, and I'm small for my age, which means I am especially adorable. When I first met my foster family, I was afraid of people. Boy, have I come a long way! Now if you sit down, I will hop up into your lap and insist you pet me from the tip of my nose to the end of my tail! I have lots of energy and think it would be fun to have another furry friend to run around with. I like to play a little rough, so I would probably match well with older children rather than little ones, but I am open to all possibilities. After you pet and scratch me, I might lean against you, lay on my back, and take a nap. Or, I might try to bite your bracelet, hair, or shoelace. I like to chase my tail, and I am pretty good at catching it. I also like to chase lights, balls, and bells. When the weather is nice, I watch squirrels through the window and wish I could chase them too. I have a very soft meow, but I like lots of attention. My favorite chairs are the dining room chairs, but I am learning to stay off the table. While we're on the topic of dining, I have some food allergies, and we are working those out. I would gladly eat wet beef cat food every day of my life, which is good for me, but I also like to snack on houseplants, which are not good for me. If you give me lots of love, I'll easily adapt to your home and we'll be friends furever! I am excited to meet you! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Story
Meet Ashley, a sweet and gentle brown tabby and white kitten with a calm spirit and a big heart. Though she may start off a little shy, Ashley quickly reveals her affectionate side once she feels safe and settled. She enjoys the company of other cats and would thrive in a home with a feline friend. In fact, she came from a home with many cats and seems most at ease when she has a kitty companion by her side. Ashley is fully litter trained, enjoys her catnip toys, and prefers cozy lounging spots like her bed. She’s fine being picked up and is easy to handle, though she appreciates a calm environment and gentle interactions. Ashley would do best in a quieter home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving cat who blossoms with patience and companionship, Ashley might be your perfect match. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Adoption Fee: $275 + applicable tax Come see me at the Petco in Highland Park located at 2277 Ford Pkwy. Story
Meet Yeti! This short-haired tabby boy is the ultimate cuddle bug wrapped in a purring, playful package. Yeti adores his six siblings and can often be found wrestling with them or zooming around the house in search of crunchy balls, puff balls, and toy mice. He’s always up for some fun—and maybe just a tiny bit of mischief! When the action winds down, Yeti turns into a snuggly little shadow who loves curling up close to your face for early morning naps and purrs. He’s wonderfully laid-back for a kitten, easygoing with everyone he meets, and especially enjoys respectful kids who play with wand toys. Yeti hasn’t met any dogs yet, but with a slow, thoughtful introduction, he’d likely do just fine. He gets along great with resident cats and would thrive in a home with feline friends (especially if one is a sibling!). If you're looking for a sweet, social, and snuggly sidekick with a little playful sparkle, Yeti's your guy. Currently fostered with: Krakken, Gnome, Dragon, Griffin, Unicorn, and Pegasus. Due to my young age, I need to be adopted into a home with another young and playful cat. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV positive, FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Yeti was born to a mom who tested positive for FIV. They also tested positive themself. However, it's possible that the result was a false positive due to maternal antibodies from nursing. We recommend retesting 6 months after they have been separated from mom to ensure a valid result.
