Story
Foster Home: Faribault, Minnesota Hello, I’m Sawyer, a soft gray gentleman with a cautious nature and a very loving heart hiding underneath. I’m the kind of cat who likes to observe first and decide things at my own pace. New people can make me a bit nervous, so I may keep my distance at the beginning. It took my foster family some time to earn my trust, and that’s just how I work. I don’t rush into affection, but once I feel safe, I truly blossom. When I decide you’re my person, I become incredibly sweet and affectionate, soaking up attention and showing my loving side. I enjoy playing with toys and romping around with my foster siblings, which really helps build my confidence. I’m gentle, playful, and full of quiet charm. My foster family says watching me open up has been one of the most rewarding things. If you’re patient, kind, and willing to let a shy cat set the pace, I promise I’ll reward you with a deep, meaningful bond. I may take a little time, but I have so much love waiting for the right home. I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing. If you are interested in adopting Sawyer, please contact his foster at (507) 581-4493

Story
Meet Carrot Cake! “Sweet as sugar, soft as frosting, and cute enough to eat (but please don’t)!” Hi there, I’m Carrot Cake — a tabby calico girl with the kind of face that makes people say “oh my goodness!” every single time they see me. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but once I know you’re a friend, I’ll melt faster than butter on a warm biscuit. Once I’m comfy, I just can’t get enough of your love! I’ll lean into every pet, purr up a storm, and even follow you from cat tree to cat tree asking for more. And if you stop before I’m ready? You might get a gentle little “love tap” from my paw, just my way of saying, “Hey, I wasn’t done being adored!” I’m a fan of cozy beds, crunchy treats, toys, and a sprinkle of catnip for good measure. I get along wonderfully with other cats and don’t mind being held for short snuggles. If you’re looking for a soft, sweet companion who’ll fill your home (and heart) with warmth, I might just be your purrfect dessert. Come meet me at our sanctuary! I’d love to meet you any day from 1–5 PM! I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat. I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing. Story
Hi there… I’m Boss Man!
And yes, I know, I’m very, very adorable. You can tell just by looking at me. I didn’t always live the good life. I came to the sanctuary as part of the “Glencoe” cats, after spending my days outside fighting for food and shelter. When I first arrived, I was pretty scared… and honestly, I wasn’t impressed with the humans at all. I even earned my name by being the Boss of the ISO room, telling everyone to go away and mind their business! But guess what? Humans grew on me. Turns out they’re pretty great. They give pets (which feel amazing), lots of love, and, most importantly, tasty lickable treats. Those treats were the key to my heart, and they’ll be the key to helping me feel comfortable in my new home too. I’ll need a family who understands that I’ll hide at first and take some time to adjust. Please be patient with me, once I trust you, you’ll see what a sweet, loving guy I really am. I absolutely love other cats. Snuggling with them, playing with them, sharing cozy naps… a feline friend is a must for me. I’m playful, always zooming around with toys, and I especially go wild for catnip bananas and catnip toys. Pure joy. These days, I even enjoy greeting visitors, especially if they come bearing treats. From tough outdoor boss to luxury-loving sweetheart, I’ve come a long way. If you think you could be my patient, loving forever human, come meet me. You can visit me daily from 1–5pm… I’ll be the adorable guy waiting for treats and pets. I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat. I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I even had a dental recently, so all my teeth are clean. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.
