Story
Haley was living outside a Golden Corral restaurant in South County STL.  Poor thing was freezing cold and looking for warmth anywhere she could find. We knew we had to help her so a good friend of ours who does TNR caught her and brought her home until we could make space. Turns out, Haley was a colony cat that had been TNR'd a year prior but her colony was miles away from where she was found.  How she ended up there, we will never know.Haley had a pretty severe tail injury that was infected, so it had to be amputated and now she has a little bob tail. She's very sweet, but cautious and shy at first. Who can blame her... I'm sure she had to be that way to survive on the streets. Haley needs a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved. Someone who understands cats and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to acclimate and build trust. Once she gets to know you, she's quite affectionate and friendly but does startle easily and will hide if she feels overwhelmed. She enjoys head and ear scratches, and will bump her head against your hand when she's really happy.  She's come a long way since being rescued and is learning that humans can be nice and receiving affection is a good thing. She's not fond of being pet near her rear end because of her injury, and does not like to be held.  She loves canned food and treats and will come running when she hears it.  Haley is okay with other cats as long as they respect her space and aren't too bossy or dominant.  Not sure about dogs but no children please.  June 16, 2026, 2:05 am

Story
Meet Dottie & Lizzie — a bonded pair whose story is as beautiful as their friendship Dottie, a stunning Turkish Van with calico markings, carries the classic “Van pattern,” including the distinctive marking along her shoulders—often affectionately called the “thumbprint of God.” Some say it’s a sign of luck, and in Dottie’s case, it certainly feels that way. Lucky to be here, and lucky to have learned to love again. She even has an extra little dot on her nose that makes her all the more unforgettable.Dottie is the gentle one, happiest when she’s curled up beside you, softly resting her face on your hand or arm as if to say, “I’m here.” She’s wonderfully chatty, often greeting you with sweet little conversations as if she’s telling you all about her day. Sometimes she’ll gently suckle on a hand or arm when she’s especially relaxed and content. Dottie was separated from her mother far too early, and this comforting behavior has stayed with her into adulthood. For her, it’s simply a way of seeking reassurance and showing trust. Once she feels safe, she melts into affection and companionship.Lizzie is her perfect opposite. A beautiful dilute calico with endless kitten-like energy, she brings the fun wherever she goes. She may be small for her age, but her personality is anything but—playful, curious, and always ready to turn anything into a game. Wand toys, crinkly sounds, a stray shoelace—everything is an adventure.Even though she's about a year old, Lizzie still has the spirit of a mischievous kitten. Like many young cats, she's still learning that hands are for petting, not playtime. When she gets excited, she may occasionally try to engage hands as toys, but she responds very well to gentle redirection and verbal cues. She's smart, eager to interact, and thrives when given appropriate toys and outlets for her energy. And no matter how busy she is, she always makes time to come back for cuddles.Dottie and Lizzie's bond was formed under difficult circumstances. Both were found in a trailer park in Warrenton, injured and being bullied. But through care, patience, and resilience, they’ve healed—physically and emotionally—and learned to trust again. They've even added new skills to their toolset, and can now sit for treats on command.  :)Now, their cuddles mean something extra special. They check in on each other, nap side by side, and take cues from one another. One moment they're peacefully cuddled together, and the next they're re-enacting a scene from The Matrix—complete with dramatic leaps, midair twists, and wrestling matches that seem to happen in slow motion. Lizzie encourages Dottie to be brave and playful, while Dottie helps Lizzie settle and relax. Their relationship is full of both adventure and comfort, making them a joy to watch and an even greater joy to love.Because of Lizzie’s youthful enthusiasm and Dottie’s comfort-seeking habits, they may do best in a home with older children who can understand and respect feline boundaries. With patient adopters who appreciate their unique personalities, they will reward their family with endless love, laughter, and companionship.Dottie and Lizzie are both spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to begin their next chapter together. They will be available for adoption as a bonded pair at Whisker Station Cat Café.If you’re looking for not just pets, but a story of resilience, friendship, and trust, these two are waiting for you.Because some bonds aren’t just strong—they’re meant to last a lifetime.June 16, 2026, 2:05 am

Story
Harley is a sweet guy who is bonded with his brother Phantom.  They were adopted as kittens from Whisker Station but the environment in the home (as 6 kids grew) got to be too much for them.  So we took them back and hope to find them a new, calmer home together.  They love pets and all kids of attention.  They will be a realyly fun addition to a home.  June 16, 2026, 2:05 am
