Hello everyone, I got Molly from a childhood friend of mine who needed to urgently rehome him. He is good with kids over age 9 (mature kids!), but he is NOT good with toddlers or babies (which is why my friend rehomed him). He is good with dogs, both big and small, and he also does well with other cats. He can have a hard time with power dynamics around other cats, but that may just be how they work out their hierarchy — he's been around two different cats and did fine after an initial adjustment period. He is 11 years old, and I unfortunately need to rehome him due to personal circumstances. I need to move into a home I can better afford, but the place I'm going to doesn't allow cats because of the landlord's allergies. He is a great, cuddly lap cat — the more affection you give him, the better. He just wants to lay next to you. He's a wonderful cat and doesn't deserve to end up in a shelter.

Story
Dickson is 8 years old. He is neutered and was up to date on shots until around 3 years ago. We adopted him a week ago and quickly found out that we are unfortunately allergic to cats. His previous owner had him for around 5 years before having to move. Dickson is an extremely affectionate, cuddly, and tolerant cat. He likes to be held and is very tolerant to being handled. He is a couch potato but he occasionally becomes interested in playing with toys. Dickson has a "sister" named Oedipa who is an 8 year old female Calico also up for adoption. They are not bonded nor littermates but they haved lived together with their previous owner for the last 5 years. They get along but are also fairly independent. Still, best case scenario would be for them to stay together (not required though).
