Story
Quinn - Female DOB 4/7/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Quinn is an affectionate cat, but is also an independent and thoughtful cat who may need a little time to adjust.  She ended up in a southern shelter after losing her longtime home when her person passed away. Once she feels secure, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention, especially if it’s paired with gentle brushing. She prefers a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not a fan of dogs or children and would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. Quinn likes to be around people, and prefers to hang out nearby, and not necessarily on your lap.  She loves head rubs and will also allow belly rubs when she's feeling especially lovey.  She loves to have an audience while she eats—she’ll eat more and seem happier when someone’s near, gently petting her and talking softly. A sunny spot by a window and a cozy place to curl up would make all her dreams come true!  Once she feels safe and happy, she loves to roll over and get continuous pets. Quinn is a great companion, but also with her independent side, does not need someone home all day to give her constant attention.  She has been on a low daily dose of Prozac which she takes easily in her food due primarily from stress of being around other cats.  When she is separated from all the other cats, she's much more happy and loving of pets which will keep her much more happy. Story
Lucy - Female DOB 8/5/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Dilute Tortoiseshell Gorgeous Lucy is a shy girl, but lately she's been tiptoeing out to explore the main room at the rescue, and it's been really lovely to watch her curiosity start to take over. Lucy is incredibly soft, which almost catches you off guard the first time you pet her, and once she's decided she trusts you, she soaks up every bit of affection you're willing to give. She draws a lot of comfort from having other cats around, and she would need to go home with a feline companion she feels at ease with. If you don't already have a friendly kitty at home, there are several at the rescue that she has bonded with and who would make a wonderful match for her. A calm, quiet home without dogs or children would be the ideal setting for her — somewhere she can continue at her own pace, keep exploring, and maybe one day surprise you by jumping up next to you on the couch like she owns the place. Story
Anna - Female DOB 6/13/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Gray and White Tabby Elsa and Anna are two shy sisters who are as devoted to each other as their Frozen namesakes, and just as deserving of their own happily ever after. Like their monikers, each girl has her own distinct personality. Elsa is the braver one and will find her footing more quickly in a new place, while Anna is happiest tucked into a cozy cubby, either solo or curled up with her sister. They have been inseparable since coming into foster care and will need to go home together. They are not high maintenance girls at all. A sunny window to lounge in and a quiet household is really all they are asking for, and they are a wonderful fit for someone who works since they are perfectly happy to hold down the fort while you are gone. What they do need is a patient person who is comfortable letting them settle in gradually, starting small and branching out when they are ready. They are fine around other cats, but a home without dogs or children would suit them best — somewhere calm and low key where they can take their time and eventually come out of their shells on their own terms.
