Story
Quinn - Female DOB 4/7/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Quinn is an affectionate cat, but is also an independent and thoughtful cat who may need a little time to adjust.  She ended up in a southern shelter after losing her longtime home when her person passed away. Once she feels secure, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention, especially if it’s paired with gentle brushing. She prefers a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not a fan of dogs or children and would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. Quinn likes to be around people, and prefers to hang out nearby, and not necessarily on your lap.  She loves head rubs and will also allow belly rubs when she's feeling especially lovey.  She loves to have an audience while she eats—she’ll eat more and seem happier when someone’s near, gently petting her and talking softly. A sunny spot by a window and a cozy place to curl up would make all her dreams come true!  Once she feels safe and happy, she loves to roll over and get continuous pets. Quinn is a great companion, but also with her independent side, does not need someone home all day to give her constant attention.  She has been on a low daily dose of Prozac which she takes easily in her food due primarily from stress of being around other cats.  When she is separated from all the other cats, she's much more happy and loving of pets which will keep her much more happy. Story
Travis - Male DOB 5/12/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Brown Tabby Travis is a handsome tabby boy with the kind of eyes that tend to win people over quickly. He loves to chase after ping pong balls, but he's not much of a player with other cats.  He likes to be where the activity is, and have lots of room to roam and explore.  He does like to nap in high places, so he would enjoy a tall cat tree next to a sunny window.  As soon as he sees you sit down, he likes to come and jump up on your lap to be petted and hang out.  He is outgoing, but loud noises will still startle him until he adjusts to his environment.   Travis would do best in a quieter home with no dogs and older children only, where he can adjust at his own pace.  He would do best being your one and only kitty as long as he gets lots of attention and play time from his humans.    Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Story
Mary - Female DOB 2/26/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Brown Tabby Mary arrived at a Southern shelter as a pregnant spay, about to give birth. She was an excellent mama cat, taking care of her kits until they were weaned. Although she was a great mom, she is ready to leave that life behind her. Mary is absolutely adorable with her purrrfect tabby markings and slightly crossed eyes. She doesn’t want to be the center of the attention, preferring to be more of a bookworm than a prom queen. Although she may be a little shy at first, she will warm up to you quickly. She doesn’t need much- kind humans, a soft bed and tasty food. She would get along with another gentle cat. She would thrive in a low key household without doggos and kiddos. Does Mary sound like your kind of cat? Apply today!
