Story
Buddy was being mistreated, We saved buddy when he was about 4 weeks old. He was an outside cat for most of his life. He got severely constipated by eating outside of our control. He now has mega colon and can only eat prescription food. He needs someone to care for him that is home all day, he is lonely being stuck in the house all day alone. He is a good cat and loves to snuggle!

Story
Hermoine has been with us since she was 12 weeks old. We adopted her from an agency. She is declawed and spayed, and does best around older children that aren’t as fast moving or loud as younger kids. She has grown to dislike the noise and has also developed a disliking of clutter and other cats. She’s very sweet and a bit timid. She enjoys snuggling under the blanket at bedtime and loves soft, cozy fabrics to “march” on. She’s a tidy cat and a minimalist. As we acquired more and more kids things, it was apparent that she grew to dislike her surroundings, opting to spend her time under the bed and picking fights with her cat sisters. She deserves a loving home that compliments her preference for peace and quiet. She enjoys looking out the window at birds and squirrels, falling leaves and beautiful sunsets. She has a beautiful orange patch on the top of her head, giving her the temperament of the stereotypical “ginger.” She has beautiful tortoise coloring all over her including her toes

Story
I adopted Ella in October 2023 from the kennebunk shelter. She is 2 1/2 years old. She is a velcro kitty for sure! She would do best in a home where the person is home most of the time as she loves lap time and play interaction. She loves to fetch bottle caps and bring them back to you. She has been in a quiet older person home. She watches my 5 year old grandson from a distance when he is visiting. I have a large 18 lbs bag of cat food, new box of litter (depending on when adopted), her dishes, a cat tree she loves, and numerous toys that will all be included and her hooded large cat box!

These cats are in Rochester, New Hampshire too!

Story
Quinn - Female DOB 4/7/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Calico Quinn is a reserved and thoughtful cat who may need a little time to adjust, especially after losing her longtime home when her person passed away. Once she feels secure, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention, especially if it’s paired with gentle brushing. She prefers a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not a fan of dogs or children and would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. Quinn especially loves sitting with someone while she eats—she’ll eat more and seem happier when someone’s near, gently petting her and talking softly. A sunny spot by a window and a cozy place to curl up would make all her dreams come true!  Once she feels safe and happy, she loves to roll over and get continuous pets. Quinn was recently diagnosed with cystitis, but with an antibiotic and isolating her from the stress of the other cats, she’s doing wonderfully now. Our vet said her bladder is a bit smaller than most cats, but they feel it happens because she is stressed being around all the other cats at the rescue.  She does not need to be on a special prescription dry food, but a high quality urinary dry food will be helpful.  She has been on a low daily dose of Prozac which she takes easily in her food.  When she is separated from all the other cats, she's much more happy and loving of pets which will keep her much more happy. Story
Tina - Female DOB 4/15/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Black Meet Tina and Dianna, sisters who are basically tiny, fuzzy tornadoes of joy. These young black panthers are always on the move, chasing toys, chasing each other, and sometimes just running around for the fun of it. They’re full of energy, curiosity, and that delightful kitten mischief that makes everything feel a little brighter. Once she finally tires out, Tina is the first to curl up in your lap and melt into a puddle of purrs. She has a few more white hairs than her sister, which helps tell them apart when they’re not a blur of playful motion. Dianna is equally adventurous and just as sweet, always ready to pounce or play and then look at you like you're the best thing in the world. They're both still small, smaller than they look in photos, and would enjoy a home with other cats, gentle dogs, or kids who understand how to play kindly with kittens. If your home has room for a little chaos, a lot of laughter, and two affectionate shadows who just want to be where you are, Tina and Dianna would love to meet you! Story
Antonio - Male Neutered DOB 5/27/2022 Domestic Short Hair White with Tabby Tail - Antonio is a gentle sweetheart who’s been through a bit of a journey and is now hoping to find his forever family. He was adopted as a kitten but ended up being returned to us through no fault of his own due to home circumstances changing. Understandably, he’s a little shy at first and will need a bit of time and patience to adjust to a new environment—but once he feels safe, his soft personality begins to shine.  He has been spending some time in a foster home lately and seems to enjoy being around some calm female cats but doesn't care to be around male cats where they tend to be dominating over him. He loves a good head/chin scratch and will happily accept gentle pets, though he’s not too fond of being picked up. He enjoys playing with wand toys, especially a ribbon wand, but is also a very calm, laidback kitty.  He was recently diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and is currently on daily medication and special dry food to help his body adjust.  He does love his wet food which doesn't need to be anything special.  Luckily most of his medication he will eat crushed up in a squeeze up paste treat, and otherwise, he is easy to give the liquid to. Antonio would be happiest in a quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace. One of his favorite things is lounging by a sunny window, watching the birds and soaking up the warmth—so if you’ve got a good perch, he’ll be in heaven. Antonio would do best with a chill female kitty friend and a quiet home where he can feel relaxed.  He would need a home with no kids and a dog-free home is a must.  If you’re looking for a quiet companion with a gentle soul and a love for sunbeams, Antonio might just be your perfect match.
