Munson's Story Munson is a distinguished 12-year-old gentleman with the handsome looks of a Russian Blue and a heart just as soft as his plush gray coat. This sweet boy was found as a stray and arrived at the shelter with a few wounds on his head. Not long after, he also came down with a URI, which meant much of his time here has been spent resting and recovering in isolation. Despite the rough start, Munson has remained incredibly gentle and affectionate with everyone he meets. He enjoys quiet companionship and would love nothing more than a cozy bed, a sunny window, and a person to call his own. Because of his calm nature and loving personality, Munson would be a wonderful candidate for our Senior for Seniors program. Phil 's Story Phil is a 2-year-old male brown tabby with a heart as big as his personality. From the moment you meet him, it’s clear that Phil’s favorite thing in the world is people. He is over-the-top friendly—the kind of cat who would rather lean in for pets and affection than sit still for a photo. In fact, getting a good picture of him was a bit of a challenge because all Phil wanted to do was rub up against us and soak up as much love as possible. Phil has tested FIV positive, but please don’t let that deter you from considering him. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives and often do just as well as other cats, especially in loving indoor homes. What truly defines Phil isn’t a test result—it’s his incredibly sweet, affectionate nature and his desire to be close to his people. If you’re looking for a companion who will greet you with enthusiasm, happily accept endless pets, and remind you every day how special the bond between a cat and their person can be, Phil may be the perfect match. Figaro 's Story Figaro is a handsome 3-year-old black-and-white tuxedo gentleman who arrived at the shelter as a stray, bringing with him a quiet charm and a resilient spirit. While his past is a bit of a mystery, Figaro clearly hasn’t let life slow him down. Figaro has permanent nerve damage in one of his legs, likely from an old injury or a condition he was born with. There are no broken bones or structural issues—he simply “knuckle walks” on that paw. He gets around just fine and handles his mobility with impressive determination, but his paw should be monitored for any signs of wear over time. When you first meet him, Figaro may be a little shy and reserved. Give him a bit of patience and a gentle approach, and you’ll quickly see his sweet personality shine through. Once he feels comfortable, Figaro becomes a very friendly and affectionate companion who enjoys attention and being near his people. This dapper tuxedo boy is looking for a caring home that appreciates his unique walk and kind heart.
