ABOUT CHRISTMAS CHILI AND MISS KRAMPUS! Meet Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus, our pretty mamas! These two came to HAP at separate times, both strays with kittens in tow and both upset at being caged. After a few months of medication and socialization and not much progress, we decided to put the two ladies in a room together, as a last ditch effort. They immediately took to each other and have been inseperatable ever since! Now with each others support and comfort, they two have started to enjoy human attention a little more! Christmas Chili is the more outgoing of the two, she enjoys chirping and booping her human friends, once she gets used to them! Miss Krampus is more on the shy side, though she does enjoy playing with her human friends, as long as they keep their distance! *Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus both adore other cats! We don't recommend they go to a home with dogs or children.

Story
ABOUT GORLOCK! Meet Gorlock, our handsome black kitty! This guy came to HAP as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. Once we were able to look him over, we noticed he had quite a few bite wounds on him, likely from fighting other cats outside. Because of this, we have to put him on a 4-month quarantine, during which time he cannot be around other animals. Gorlock is a very social and chill guy, who loves to be around people! He enjoys hanging out and taking it easy, and he loves to snuggle up in a sunbeam. He also enjoys licking his human friends necks, which is weird but charming! *Gorlock has never met other cats, dogs or children, but we believe he'd do fine with them! *If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
ABOUT BETTY-LOU! Meet Betty-Lou, our funny little lady! This cutie was brought to HAP as a stray, so we don't really know why she is the way she is. Our medical team believes she may have been hit by a car, as she has some old, healed breaks. While we can't know for sure what happened, what we can be sure of that nothing slows her down! Betty-Lou is an active lady, who never really stops moving! She loves to do her laps around the room, jumping up and down off of benches, and sometimes running into walls. The only time she takes a breather is dinner time and catnip time! If you happen to be in the way of her laps, she will stop and get some love, but you must understand, she's busy! *Betty-Lou has some previous broken bones that have healed. While there isn't much to be done for this, she may need joint suppliments or pain management as she ages. *Betty-Lou does not like other cats, and we don't recommend dogs. She does get along well with kids.
