Story
Barney is a 3-month-old ginger and white kitten with one speed: fully involved. He is energetic, affectionate, nosy, hilarious, and absolutely convinced that whatever you are doing is also his business. Barney likes to be in the middle of everything, whether that means climbing a cat tower, chasing toys across the room, carrying around a plush toy, diving under blankets, or climbing onto your shoulder so he can properly snoopervise. This kitten LOVES to play. Balls, crinkly toys, ball tracks, laser pointers, electronic toys, scratchers, plush toys almost as big as he is, Barney is not picky. If it moves, rattles, rolls, crinkles, or can be tackled, he is interested. He also loves playing chase and has perfected the little pre-pounce butt wiggle. When he is not busy creating his own entertainment, Barney is extremely people-oriented. He greets you at the door, follows along to see what you are doing, and happily climbs into a lap once he has finally worn himself out. He is also a talker when food is involved and has been known to stand up in a very convincing little meerkat pose when he thinks it might help his case.Barney is bold, curious, confident, and very social with other cats. He will need a young cat under 3 years old in his adoptive home so he has an appropriate friend to play, wrestle, chase, and grow up with.A tall cat tree is basically a requirement for this kid. Barney loves to climb, lounge in the sun, and watch the world through the window when he finally decides to sit still for a few minutes. If you are looking for a ginger and white kitten who will make you laugh, follow you around, keep your resident cat busy, and then curl up with you when the chaos is over, Barney might be your guy.*Apply to adopt Barney at: https://kitkatplayroom.com/adopt*Want to get to know him first?
