Tommy is a 1-year-old white and brown tabby with a gentle soul and a heart full of potential. He came to us as a transfer from another organization after experiencing a traumatic situation involving dogs. Because of that, Tommy is looking for a calm, dog-free home where he can feel safe and begin to truly relax.Despite everything he’s been through, Tommy has remained incredibly sweet. He may be nervous and a bit unsure at first, but he has never shown aggression, just a quiet hope that the world can still be kind to him. With a little patience and understanding, you’ll start to see his soft, loving personality shine through.Tommy didn’t come to us alone, he arrived with two other cats, and it’s clear he finds comfort in feline companionship. He would do best in a home with another friendly cat to help boost his confidence and show him the ropes. At 3 years and 9 months old, she’s reached that wonderful stage where she still has playful moments but also truly appreciates the simple comfort of a cozy spot and a kind human nearby.Noir’s journey brought her to Espanola Humane after a Good Samaritan found her wandering a little too close to the road. Thankfully, she was easy to handle and clearly ready for help. Her previous owners were contacted and made the difficult decision to surrender her, giving Noir the chance to find a new beginning with a family who can offer her the love and stability she deserves.Because we don’t know much about her past, we’re still learning what makes Noir tick. She doesn’t seem to mind the presence of other cats, but as with any new introductions, a slow and carefully supervised approach will be important to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Her behavior around dogs is currently unknown.At first, Noir may come across as a bit shy, quietly observing her surroundings and taking her time to feel secure. Phoebe is an 8-year-old brown tabby with a heart as big as her personality, and she’s ready to find a loving home to call her own.This lovely lady came to the shelter as an owner surrender, and when she first arrived, she needed a little extra TLC. Staff noticed irritation on her back end and discovered she was significantly overweight, tipping the scales at 26.6 pounds. Since then, Phoebe has been on quite the journey! After getting cleaned up, she headed into foster care where she was treated like the princess she truly is. With proper care, patience, and plenty of love, she’s already begun her path toward a healthier, happier life.Phoebe will go home with her very own harness and leash so she can continue her weight loss journey through gentle, supervised walks. She’s not in a rush, and shouldn’t be! Slow and steady progress is the key to helping her feel comfortable and confident as she builds strength.In new environments, Phoebe may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you!
