Petie and Nutmeg are a mother and son duo. They both love attention, to bet pet and are very affectionate. Petie also enjoys sitting on laps and getting belly rubs. They are both playful, but Nutmeg really enjoys playing. These gorgeous cats have remained close their entire lives, cuddling and grooming each other. Nutmeg is very cat selective and is only truly comfortable with Petie. Due to this we feel that they would be happiest as the only pets in their home. They need a special family to give cats with few prospects a loving home. Petie requires litter that isn't dusty for his allergies (we use walnut or world's best) and eats a prescription diet to prevent crystals.  Nutmeg has an old, healed leg injury that left her with a small limp.  She can still jump and get around without issue. He especially loves chin and head scratches, leaning right into the affection with a soft purr. Since Forrest can sometimes get overstimulated, he would do best in a home with no children under 12. When it comes to playtime, Forrest is full of energy and enthusiasm. He enjoys darting through tunnels, chasing after ribbon toys, and climbing high into his cat tree to survey his kingdom. Window-watching is another one of his favorite pastimes-he'll happily sit for long stretches watching birds flutter outside.
