Story
I brought in a mother cat that was pregnant during the winter. She has since had her kittens. The landlord has given ample time to find them homes. I only rent a room. Desperately trying not to put them in shelters, just looking for good homes for them. Please contact me if you can open your home to give them a forever place in your heart as well as your home. There is 5 in all...2 boys and 3 girls. Adopt 1 or 2, how many you want to. They are all litter box trained since 3 weeks old. They are affectionate and sweet. Desperately need and deserve a forever home. Thank you.

She’s very energetic and a bit of a diva but friendly. Does not like being picked up, does love petting. She loves tuna. Her eyes changed from a gray/green to amber/ orange. Not a picky eater. Huge food lover. Clumsy in the cutest way. Has an adorable little snore.

Story
Amber is a sweetheart with a calm, gentle soul and heart full of love to give. She adores curling up in cozy cardboard boxes and playing with her favorite mouse-shaped toys. When she is not playing, Amber loves cuddling and sharing her soft, purring "kisses". Amber is ready for a loving home where she can give and receive the affection she's always had in her heart.

Story
Francisco is a male cat, approximately 10 months old and around 10 lbs., a TNR with his full protocol completed, and he is still living om the streets. For a long time, Francisco had his brother. They slept together, stayed close, and faced the streets side by side. But when his brother was adopted, Francisco was left behind, suddenly alone in the only world he had ever known. Today, Francisco spends most of his days right in front of my home. He waits on the balcony, curls up on the outdoor sofa, and looks inside hoping to belong. He wants to come in so badly—but he can’t. I have dogs that are not cat-friendly, and for his safety, he must remain outside. Despite everything, Francisco is gentle and calm. He does not chase dogs or react to them, and with a calm, dog-friendly pup, he could even coexist peacefully. He isn’t asking for much—just safety, warmth, and someone to care. For now, Francisco continues to live on the street. Once a committed family shows interest in adopting him, he will be moved to boarding to keep him safe while the adoption is finalized. Francisco has already done the hardest part—surviving. Now he just needs a family willing to say yes. He deserves more than the street. He deserves a home!

Story
Tiki is a sweet cat that was well loved by her former pet parent. Unfortunately, Tiki was surrendered due to her owner's advanced age and declining health. She is very friendly and loves snuggles and pets for as long as you will give them. She has a beautiful tabico coat with one orange tabby paw and a perfectly white tipped tail.  Tiki would be the perfect cat for pet parents who like to spend time on the couch with their cat.  She also has a playful side and enjoys toys and catnip. Tiki was born on 7-7-2018 and is located in our Adoption Center in Petsmart in Commack, NY. To Adopt:  fill out an application direclty on our website at www.jensadoptablecats.com/applications ##2494219##

Story
Petie and Nutmeg are a mother and son duo. They both love attention, to bet pet and are very affectionate. Petie also enjoys sitting on laps and getting belly rubs. They are both playful, but Nutmeg really enjoys playing. These gorgeous cats have remained close their entire lives, cuddling and grooming each other. Nutmeg is very cat selective and is only truly comfortable with Petie. Due to this we feel that they would be happiest as the only pets in their home. They need a special family to give cats with few prospects a loving home. Petie requires litter that isn't dusty for his allergies (we use walnut or world's best) and eats a prescription diet to prevent crystals.  Nutmeg has an old, healed leg injury that left her with a small limp.  She can still jump and get around without issue. Nutmeg was born 11/1/2014 and Petie was born on 6-1-2015 and they are located in Patchogue, NY.  To Foster or Adopt Petie & Nutmeg: fill out an application on our website at www.jensadoptablecats.com/applications.  ##525097##

Story
Meet Rip! Born September, 2025 Rip is a tender, independent boy who starts off shy but warms up beautifully with patience and a gentle approach. He’s curious and observant, preferring to take his time getting to know new people and environments. Respectful of personal space, Rip appreciates a calm atmosphere where he can explore at his own pace. He was treated for eye infections and it cleared up but left some scarring. It doesn’t seem to affect him at all. Though easily startled and a bit nervous at first, he is wonderfully gentle and mellow once he feels secure. He’s also easy to handle for nail trims and has a sweet, soft presence that makes him incredibly endearing. When Rip opens up, his playful and energetic side shines through. He loves cat dancer toys, crinkle balls, and anything that lets him dart, pounce, and stay active. Food is a great motivator for him, and he’ll happily perk up for treats or mealtime. Despite his independent streak, Rip becomes a loving lap cat who enjoys quiet cuddle time once he builds trust. With his mix of sweetness, curiosity, and gentle affection, Rip is a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a mellow, sensitive kitty who blooms into a loyal companion. To adopt Rip complete our adoption application here-https://www.tenderlovingcats.org/adoption-application.html After the application is approved, you can meet him and his Foster’s home.
