Curry is a cautious and independent 1-year-old cat who’s had a challenging start in life. He came from a home with over 20 other cats, where he didn’t have much interaction with people. As a result, he’s a bit shy and reserved, still learning to trust humans.Although Curry isn’t in love with people just yet, he’s slowly coming around. He now allows the occasional petting, a big step for him, but he still prefers to keep his distance most of the time.Curry is a work in progress, showing small but meaningful signs of growth every day. With patience and understanding, he will one day fully embrace the comfort and love that comes from being around people. Mama Lowes was found in the garden section of a local Lowes along with her babies! She found her way to us by one of the caring employees who found her. She is shy at first, but is so sweet when she knows you. When Mama Lowes got to our shelter, it's almost like she knew she was in a safe place and now has a future to look forward to.

FIV+Meet Chance! We think he is about 7 years old. Him being FIV+ does not mean his life will be any less. He can safely live with other cats (as long as they get along) and he doesn't require any "extra" medical care from being FIV+. Chance got his name because he truly got a second chance at life. He spent a long time outside, uncared for. He was found by a caring person, and from there his life began again. They learned that Chance does not like dogs and he can tolerate cat friends, but would probably love to be your only companion.
